If Rudy won't re-sign in Charlotte, the Hornets won't make that deal. Even if he will re-sign with them, I'm not sure it fits their development timeline.

Clearing space for Wood is headscratching because he is a guy who can be found or developed. There is always athletic, limited offensive players in every draftThe main parts of the trade are #3 and using cap space to sign Wood.
Understandable about Bridges and PJ. I don't think they are excellent assets, but I think they could be quality depth guys for the long run. If Bridges can be another Royce and Washington a Favors type...

Good insight. Not ready to completely agree but I respect the takeWell part of reason for LA's underachieving were because they had a terrible coach in Luke Walton who didn't know what to do with the talents at hand. He did the same thing to Sacramento and they soon lost their fast pace identity they got a season ago under Joerger. Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Lonzo Ball all improved their games significantly at Pels. Have LA kept Walton for this season, not sure the theory of "young vs old" could still hold up.
Not all of them are the size of Anthony Davis and actually develop like Wood. He’s very good.Clearing space for Wood is headscratching because he is a guy who can be found or developed. There is always athletic, limited offensive players in every draft
Charlotte last summer sign and traded for 26 year old Rozier. There were reports they wanted Randle this offseason. Rudy, at 28, fits a timeline with Rozier and Randle. Graham was an unexpected gem who fits as well.If Rudy won't re-sign in Charlotte, the Hornets won't make that deal. Even if he will re-sign with them, I'm not sure it fits their development timeline.
The season after next Rudy is 30+. Not many centers are worth $30+ after 30.

Lakers are a year older. They are still very good but if the Jazz can add some length and shooting off the bench. And fwiw that team is still fighting for those last playoff spots. West is loaded next year. I know this isn't popular but If I'm jazz I'm tanking. Get lotto picks because next year all these teams are ahead of Jazz
Lakers
Clippers
Nuggets
Warriors
Rockets
Mavericks
That leaves 2 spots for teams like Jazz,Sun's,Timberwolves,Pelicans, grizzlies, kings.
The west was powerful this year and next year even more and for jazz to compete for a chip in a few years they need young talent. If I'm reading with knicks I'm aiming for Mitchell Robinson. He is young and athletic. Imagine the rim running with Donovan and Him
I wish you actually used your brain. Why the **** does a team have to have players who are all the same age? Has a team ever won a championship like that? Most champions are mixes of youth and vets. You need guys who are in their physical primes and guys who are mentally experienced and know how to handle situations and arent as worried about looking like a star to get their first big deal.
Name a 30 year old one dimensional big man who makes $30+ who a team is grateful to have. Doesnt exist...I keep forgetting. 29 is gravy, 30 is dog dung. Got it.

Gobert has a better shot at getting us a title than any stupid ****ing trade you have proposed on this website.Name a 30 year old one dimensional big man who makes $30+ who a team is grateful to have. Doesnt exist...
Hell, Kevin Love is a dang good player and nobody wants to touch his contract.
DeAndre Jordan went from All Star to irrelevant in a hurry.
Marc Gasol got dumped by Memphis and won't get a big deal again.
Ibaka can shoot the 3, and he wouldn't get $20.
Vucevic had an amazing season last year and still couldn't get $30.
Horford doesn't make $30 and that deal is still awful.
Old, overpaid bigs don't win you titles if relied on to play a major role.

Rudy is one dimensional on defense. He can shut down an area of the court but can't shut down an individual player or defend perimeter players. How many such 27-year-old big men exist?
How many one-dimensional players of any height are worth $30M contracts at any age?
Also, I disagree that Gobert is one-dimensional.
The only way that happens is if we get some borderline all star addition at the wing without sacrificing much to get that player.Gobert has a better shot at getting us a title than any stupid ****ing trade you have proposed on this website.
My first big trade idea thread of the off-season. Constructive criticism desired. (The amount in parenthesis is the amount of salary added or saved not counting draft pick wages)
New York gets Conley #23 and draft considerations from Charlotte (NY adds $9.4 in salaries)
Charlotte gets Gobert and Randle (Charlotte adds $32 in salaries)
Utah gets #3, PJ Washington, Miles Bridges, Monk, and Ntilikina (Utah saves $41.4 in salaries)
Utah waives NWG and Rajon Tucker. With all the freed up cap space, Utah signs Christian Wood in free agency.
Why for NY: they get a team leader, save money for summer 2021 and get a first round pick. That's pretty much their squad goals right now. Go big in 2021.
Why for Charlotte: they've been irrelevant for so long so this is impressive by Charlotte. Rozier, Graham, Randle and Rudy puts them in the playoff picture in the East. Maybe they pull off the trade without having to send Monk too. Maybe Utah adds Ed Davis and Bradley and takes back Cody Zeller who is an expiring. Utah could get additional 2nd rounders if they do this.
