I'm not saying KG might have been somewhat of his usual KG a-hole self, but is that really a valid reason to halt all negotiations? Or just an opportunity to leak an "enhanced" story to make the players look bad?
 
....what many fans fail to realize is that this is not all about money for the owners! Sure, they have to do this to protect themselves from themselves.....but they also feel that the game of basketball has been "hijacked" from them and it's now PAYBACK time! They don't like the "hip hop" culture anymore than I do for the most part! They don't like the way these players look....they don't like the way they comport themselves on and off the court....they don't like the effort being put forth for the money they are paying....and they are now in a position to do something about it!

Link? You are aware that "the hip-hop" culture is the thing that is helping these owners make money off these players?
 
.....yes, I think this lockout is being extended in part because the owners not only want to make more money and keep the players from making more, but to show them who is actually in charge and to try an change the public perception of who's in charge.....to pull the reigns in on the "me first" hopper culture that permeates todays NBA. They've tried it in other areas, dress codes, etc. But this lockout, if it goes on long enough, will bring the players to their knees, possibly humbling them to a certain extent....that the world does not revolve around them and their selfish attitude. Not going to really work....but at least they can say they gave it a good try!

If my boss said to me "take this pay cut or find another job"....I would take the pay cut, be looking for another job....but probably not giving him my best effort anymore! But NBA players can't possibly give a worse effort than they've been doing the past 10 years anyway! Poor shooting, poor defense, poor team play.

"Hopper" is CJ's code word. Every time he uses it, just replace the word Hopper with another word that starts with N and ends with "ger" and you'll crack his code.
