Donovan and Rudy selected last for all-stars

I have a feeling post ASG this will fire everyone up in the short term, but hard to bottle up that frustration and use it to your advantage to win a lot of ball games.

Why waste time playing defense when 35 foot threes will get jacked up and fast breaks that will be freebies? He will collect garbage rebounds and put backs.

Just rest the legs and watch the other dummies.
He scored 20+ points last year in the game and was a force defensively. And he didn’t play the fourth quarter

Did you guys see the Lebron interview on why Donovan and Rudy were picked last? Makes this crap even more disrespectful.
No, what did he say?

edit:
"There is no slander to the Utah Jazz," James insisted. "You guys got to understand. Just like in video games growing up, we never played with Utah. Even as great as Karl Malone and John Stockton was, we never picked those guys in video games. Never."

As James said those words, Durant howled in laughter. But he may have been just as guilty.

I love basketball and REALLY love the Jazz but I'm just so goddamn sick of the NBA and the way they treat small market teams. In the NFL if a team is talented they are treated the same as all the other good teams no matter the market size. Just look at Green Bay, they're the smallest market team in the entire league.

I kind of like the disrespect. To me it should motivate this team and I hope we come out swinging after the All-star break but more importantly I think the players know we have to step up in the playoffs when it matters.

Also this shows that some players might be afraid of the Jazz this year.

Maybe they did this as a slight toward the whitest fan base in the NBA. Especially after the Westbrick incident. Yeah, I went there.

It's not the market. It's simply our guys being looked down upon. Milwaukee isn't much of a market compared to SLC. But Giannis has received way more respect and recognition compared to DM and Rudy. Malone and Stockton were well respected amongst their peers, media and fans despite playing for the "small market" in Utah. DM and Rudy just gotta prove people wrong by playing better. I know we have played better as a team, but individually I know Rudy and DM have what it takes to bring their game to the next level. They just gotta show it to them.

Ahem, they prefer to be called clowns. Or practitioners of the clowning arts.

Two-time and about to be three-time DPOY gets picked last. This isn't about Rudy IMO, it's about Utah.

It seriously feels like the league wants the Jazz to have to move. I know it’s been speculation for as long as I can remember but it’s starting to feel like it’s obvious now- Like they aren’t even hiding from it.

I think we can calm down with the conspiracy talk. They don't want the team to move. They just like making fun of Utah. It isn't a cool place by their definition. Rudy is not well liked because he's different. Bunch of teams and players make fun of him.

DM and Rudy are both guys that are considered try hards... they weren't the blue chip can't miss prospects... they aren't in the cool kids club.

If they do something meaningful we can shove it in everyone's face. This isn't a directive from the NBA. Is two dudes teasing the outcasts.

Lebron even went with "I need a big. I'm taking...Domantas Sobanis." Dude was barely a all star. Yeah Rudy needs to clap this guy.
