Who Should the Jazz Bring In?

Hard to read any of ther
Rookies rarely help you win outside of elite talent. Hughes might become a rotation player for us but those players you listed are rotational players. You are telling the best team in the NBA to play someone who hasn't proved anything, to play over legit players.
Then why didn’t we draft for greater talent? If our current cop of picks aren’t playable, why didn’t we go for a project with a greater ceiling than Hughes/Udoka? Or trade out of the draft altogether for when we might need a draft instead of rely on our current roster?

I don’t necessarily disagree with you here. I’m just trying to follow the logic of the jazz because it doesn’t seem to be very coherent. If we had a veteran team that had room for rookies, why not draft a project or trade out of the draft altogether? I thought we got Hughes and Udoka, players with shorter ceilings than other players available in the draft, because we thought they were players who could contribute immediately?

The lols are pretty good sometimes, doe. So much weeping masquerading as toughness.
Not sure what you mean by masquerading as toughness. Im pretty average in strength and toughness I think. Although im pretty sure I read more and watch tv less than the average person. Since you seem to know me for 10+ years, May I ask who you were? Because I don’t recognize your name at all.

They aren't playable because we have a really deep good team, it has nothing to do with them. Pretty much no draft pick in our range was going to play over our rotational players, nor was that the plan. Draft picks are generally for the future and need to be developed. Bad teams or teams with a lack of depth will play rookies more or the rare rookie that is great. But generally you sacrifice winning by playing rookies to try and develop them more and see what their potential is. We are all in for winning now, and doing a pretty damn good job at it.

Btw, Bojan's TS% this year is better than Mitchell or Clarkson.

What’s TS mean?

How is it figured and why would one use this instead of FG percentage?

Also most of Bojan's shots are 3s and he is shooting those pretty well. Yes, he's been a little inconsistent with a slightly different role and coming off surgery on his shooting wrist. But I'm not too worried about him. I trust him to take an open 3 in the playoffs quite a bit.

Thanks

I hope you’re right

I see Oni finished with 6 pts tonight, double what Royce had. It’s not too late to try Oni out. Get onboard the Oni train ;)

Almost the end of the 3rd against Chicago and Bogie and Royce killing it again with 11 pts and 4-14 (28 percent) shooting. I really don’t understand why we think their production is so irreplaceable.

Neither Hughes or Oni have even entered the game. Why? We couldn’t work at least one of these guys into the lineup to see what they got? Just a few mins???
What about Ilyasova with three big minutes?

Only 37 three point attempts for Oni this year, but that release and percentage looks great. I'm a Niang island inhabitant, but Oni is making such a good impression out there.
