NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

It's a good thing the Jazz lost because I'm pretty sure we'd have two 20+ point losses to Phoenix right now and not even a remotely interesting WCF. That was a fun game.
Suns/James Jones showing Jazz FO how it’s done is not a bad thing. IMO Donovan is a better player than Book. But James Jones was able to put together a championship contending-potentially winning crew around Booker in a matter of two seasons.

Couldn’t help but notice Playoff P with two crucial missed FT’s at the end.

Suns are playing better defense and Clips are missing shots this series.

Suns/James Jones showing Jazz FO how it really needs to get done is not a bad thing. IMO Donovan is a better player than Book. But James Jones was able to put together a championship contending-potentially winning crew around Booker in a matter of two seasons.
Yup. It's remarkable how quickly the Suns built a contender. The Jazz has been tinkering, attempting to build a contender now for five seasons and, despite the overall #1 ranking, in the regular season, probably still a fifth-seed when everything is equal.

Same thing we did in games 1 and 2, they were missing shots. PG missing two free throws ultimately leading to them losing was very enjoyable for this jazz fan.

We would have to be 100% healthy to have a chance. We definitely have underlying problems that would bury us in the end though.
We couldn't even beat the Suns once during the regular season. Which is why when people were acting like the Clippers series was the most important game since 1998 I had to remind them we had yet to prove we can even beat the Suns.

Like this whole George Hill to Rubio to Conley saga. If DL can't even find us a long term PG, how can we trust the man with building a long term roster?

Watching these games makes it so frustrating to know we are gonna run it back another year to get our asses kicked by a team better constructed for the playoffs and then proceed to burn the house to the ground. Just freaking do it this year when everyone is a year younger and more valuable.

DL said we were good at being honest with ourselves in the same interview he said Miye ****ing Oni could be one of the best defenders in the NBA. That’s where we are right now — in la la land believing that same core that’s been bounced in the first or second round countless seasons is gonna win us a championship with some minor fine tuning, and that Miye Oni is going to develop into a top defender in the NBA.

Again, our core guys are just as good, if not better, than the Suns. But they have a much deeper bench filled with guys who are ready for the rescue when their starters go down. Take Cam Payne's performance tonight for example. None of our scrubs is even remotely capable of pulling that off in the regular season. Let alone a game so deep in the playoffs.

I would take Mitchell over Booker, but would probably take the Suns starters at every other position. Yes, I’d even take Ayton over Rudy.
