Team USA vs Gobert

Tomorrow team USA takes on Rudy Gobert. I have sent the following e-mail to USA coach Popovich:

Dear Coach Pop:
I know you like to rest players. Well, in tomorrow's game against Gobert you can rest all your players and just put two out there on the court: Paul George and Terance Mann. Those two exposed Gobert for what he is: a big guy who can't play basketball. In the close out playoff game against Mann and George, Gobert was an astounding minus 24. Pop, you can beat Gobert and his teammates just by using Terance Mann and Paul George.
Signed,
MeloTheJazzKiller

PS: Pop, I know basketball so trust me on this. Terrance Mann and Paul George (or even just a Reggie Jackson) are enough to beat a Gobert team.

If Rudy was allowed to play zone in the nba it would get ugly for other teams… tomorrow’s game will be a test for USA.

It’s entirely possible this exposes not Rudy, but Quin.

No defensive three seconds in international basketball
Yeah... that explains a ******** and I'm surprised I didn't know that earlier.

Rudy's gonna be a problem for the whole world. I am pulling for France and Australia even though I want our guys to get some rest.

Nationalism is weird. But feeling pride in a country with the longest rap sheet of atrocities of any extant government by a mile (even with China doing their best to catch up) is especially weird to me.

The least we could do with by FAR the greatest wealth per capita in the world is have accessible and affordable healthcare, great schools, and infrastructure (like less-wealthy countries are mysteriously able to accomplish). Or maybe just take the vaccines that we bogarted from the rest of the world? Or actually embrace democracy (the thing we're supposed to be about) instead of whatever the **** is going on? Or do a single damn meaningful thing about the death spiral of climate change besides be the greatest contributor to the problem?

So yeah, sorry, I'm embarrassed. With regard to sports; they don't matter.

Sorry to sully your garbage-*** ****ing thread.

I have forwarded this entire thread (highlighting your posts) to the NSC, CIA, and the FBI. Those powerful organizations will soon be in touch with you regarding your treason, sedition, and outright stupidity. Unfortunately for you that means you will be removed from society (hanged) and you will no longer be able to watch Jazz games.

On second thought, you will be able to watch Jazz games because for your treasonous thoughts you will be going to Hell and Jazz games are the games that the Devil shows his members. Being forced to watch Gobert in the playoffs is the ultimate punishment the Devil hands out to those in Hell.

I could watch gobert swatting Marcus Morris game tying 3 point attempt all day.
Not to mention when poor Morant attempted to dunk on Rudy in the first round.

The dream team was fun because it was a true who's who of pro ball and the first time we've had pros in the Olympics. It also showed the insane gap between the talent in the US and the talent in the rest of the world. But since it has devolved into a bunch of spoiled rich guys adding to their accolades. It means less than nothing in the grand scheme of things. I haven't followed anything to do with the Olympics in general and the basketball part specifically in over a decade. I actually see it as more then a liability, as look what happened to Exum. We are one injury away from destroying our next season. So if I had my way this would all go back to the college kids playing. At least then I'd have something to root for.

meanwhile in the real world Rudy killed team USA at the last world cup. And the international game is nothing like the NBA game.

I’ll admit, I am a little curious as to what list of atrocities you are speaking to that exceeds the uyghur camps, rampant slavery and debt bondage, public executions, imprisonment for basic free speech, illegal organ harvest and trade, excessively high human trafficking, animal rights issues, etc. etc. that are plaguing China and several other countries.
