Don't think Warriors want to get rid of Klay
Durant tore his achilles and he's still a top 5 NBA player
 
I cant even see him on the jazz. His contract is awful for what he gives.

He thinks he is a PG but his lack of shooting means he should be playing a big. (Jokic can do it)

Only way we could make the salaries work would be Bogdanovic and Clarkson and that is WAY to much to offer. The jazz will still increase their tax bill an additional 2 million.

I hope he goes to a western conference contender to screw up their chances.

I know him and LBJ are supposed to be boys so you have to think there is interest in trying to get him to the LAL but I don't see how that is even remotely possible even in a 3 or 4 team trade the LAL won't have the assets to pull off a trade.

Also what PHI is wanting and asking is not what teams have been wanting to spend and now that will only go down, it was not secret that PHI was shopping him and now that Simmons' said this that will only drive down the value of what teams will offer.

Not that the Jazz would trade for him but to reply to your offer, not sure how or why Bogey would be included the Jazz would need him even more for spacing reasons if they did have Simmons in the starting lineup. Conley and Clarkson (and fillers) would make more sense to me, again not that the Jazz trading for him would make any sense as I don't think there is interest on either side.

Jazz fans would be more excited to get Tyrese Maxey than Simmons (if you read the ESPN article it mentions the agent wanting both of them to be moved)
 
PHI obviously would prefer to ship him to the West (whoever mentioned sending him to the West) and the two teams previously rumored the most were GSW and POR and obviously POR had no interest in giving up Dame which was exactly what PHI would be asking for but now......

And who ever brought up DNV, I had not thought about them nor do I think DNV is interested but that could be interesting if they could make the Joker and Simmons work but PHI would want Murray + and so again not seeing DNV doing that.
 
May be Simmons' arrogant or whatever, but there were his stars teammate and coach giving him public lip disservice.
IMHO dude's been a pro while the other guys and PHI have not. Interesting situation.
Hope dude get his wish get to LA, end up kicking Doc and his teammate a$$es.... and then help implode his new team in some stupid duel of egos.

KD is once in a generation type of talent so can't really use him as a model for other players. The thing with Klay is thag it wasn't just one injury. It was one injury that kept him out of 2020 season then another injury that took him out in 2021. The man basically hasn't played a competitive game since 2019 so really it's a bigger risk for Philly if they wanna go for him.

Would you do Mitchell and Gobert for Embid and Simmons? I recall people arguing this was a no brainer, slam dunk, do it all day long just 2 years ago.

I think it's worth a conversation but it's clearly not a cut and dry decision for either team at this point. Probably a win for Philly tbh.

Make it Mitchell, Gobert, and Ingles for Simmons, Embid, Tyrese Maxey and Matthias Thybulle and you got a deal. (This is in part sponsored by Spida's radio silence this offseason - plus the smoke about him carving an out in a few years). Salaries work out within about $5 million so the Jazz would save a ton of $$$ with this as well. Ain't gonna happen but it wouldn't be terrible for either team imho.

I would take this chance
Donovan, Gobert, and Simmons as PG
Jazz still have enough talent to make this work

I saw that and thought the same thing, it would be the one Cali team he could go to and not hurt the Jazz, also SAC would have the most to offer PHI in the trade. Well GSW could offer same or more but they likely wouldn't feel the need to like SAC would.

Besides the point he’s younger, why the **** would the jazz do this? You would consider this? Consider Mitchell and Gobert feeling disrespected and out of here as soon as possible
 
I'm not sure, but maybe I'd rather have this team moved to Seatle changing it's name to supersonics than any trade that sends Mitchell and or Gobert for Simmons.
I'd rather never see a basketball game again than see Simmons in a Jazz uniform.
Maybe I'd rather never see again than see Simmons playing for the Jazz.
