Butler looks confident out there. The shot will be there for him. Quins giving him some minutes with the starters also a good sign

Paschall looks good. Doing fit in type of things I worried he’d struggle with… encouraging.
Ya I liked what I saw from him.
Is he, dare I say it, our Torrey Craig?

So I missed the Donovan ankle injury. How bad was it? Any official updates yet?

Problem I see is we do 0 plays for the big man. In instances where our shots aren't falling you'd think we would abuse the defense down low. There was a few sequences where Whiteside had a huge mismatch that we could've took advantage of.

I could swear DL said something along the lines of our players being worn down and injured having an impact in the playoffs. Then we have Spyda rolling his ankle with 3:00 up 24.

I was thinking the same thing… easily could have had a line change with like 6 minutes left. I was wondering where Doke was. The “enforcer” wasn’t looking all that great.

The biggest thing I got from this game is the Jazz defense is going to be better this year. Whiteside plays very similar to Rudy and Paschal is much more physical than Niang.

Nice way to start the season. Rudy and JC were both amazing tonight. Donovan showed he can still turn it on in a blink of an eye. Conley, Joe, Bogey and O'neal looked great, and I was pleased with Paschall.

I'm a bit worried about Whiteside's defense. It seems like every other year, when Rudy leaves, the interior defense turns into gargabe. I'll give him time before I judge too harshly though. Butler definetely looked like a kid playing his first game, but I'm still optimistic he will be the steal of the draft.

He has a better profile for doing what we need, the rest is just learning how to do that.
