I bet the Bucks thought he was going to be a star
And he is a D League AllSTAR!!
Repped appropriately.

I would love it if the Jazz gave up Millsap, Bell, and Hayward and we could get Knight from the Pistons and Granger from the Pacers
Harris/Knight
CJ/Burk
Granger/Evans
Favors/Memo
Jefferson/Kanter
As our core for the next couple of years.

After the game, Bryant praised Hayward, saying, "I'm very fond of him. … He's going to have a very bright future in this league."
Paul Millsap & Raja Bell for Danny Granger & George Hill would make sense for BOTH teams.
WTF happend to Joe Alexander? I never thought he would be great, but he has hardly gotten any time in the NBA. He had a similar rookie season to Hayward's, then got traded and got 0 minutes on the Bulls.
Not really. He had a similar rookie season to Hayward's
Here's a very interesting thread regarding Jefferson primarily, but Millsap is also mentioned a lot. Sounds like perceptions league-wide vary as much as on our board (some see Millsap as a perfect complimentary player, some see Jefferson as a beast that needs a chance and forget last year happened).

Not really.
But he scored in double-digits 6 times to Hayward's 15. Hayward's shooting proficiency from 3 cannot be downplayed, that is huge. Hayward also handles the ball. And Alexander never had a stretch like Hayward's (whose numbers are terribly skewed for the season since he was just awful until about February).https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/alexajo01.html

Besides shooting%, Joel Alexander had better stats across the board per 36 minutes (rookie season).
