He’s really earned it being undersized at his position. He doesn’t rely on his athleticism he just uses it really well. Annoying to watch, wish we’d put some length on him

It was a bad game. But apparently Gobert cracked the code on how to guard the 3 point shot. Just take turns spilling water on the court as the shot goes up and nothing happens to you but they stop the game and wipe the points off the board.

Podcast I was listening to today said one problem is KAT is being guarded by smaller guys and Vando is taking up space in the paint cause he can't shoot. When Ant drives the center is always in the paint because they are on Vando. A stretch four would change that cause they can camp at the 3 line and draw the center out.
KAT needs to sit down with Finch and explain exactly why he is afraid to shoot Serious volume. My suspicion he is planning on leaving and he thinks having a good percentage on efficient shooting is his ticket to choosing where he ends up. Or maybe it is psychological or philosophical, or spiritual. Whatever the case, KAT might as well light out season on fire if he is going to keep making us depend on guys like MCD and Prince and Beasley, and even Ant to shoot our way to victory. Anything less than 12 3s from Karl per game is a mistake. Less than 10 is a travesty. For **** sake he shot 50% tonight and was shooting 45.2% coming into the game.

Kinda feels like the wheels have completely fallen off the defense. Just not the same degree of hustle or aggression rotating/closing out, which has basically been the lynchpin of how it works well.
