Keep in mind this was the last year of his contract, and he's injured and will not play again for at least a year. To be able to trade him for something still leaves the door open to add him back later when he's all healed up if we both want that.Yeah, Joe at least gives the outward appearance that he knows this is a business. He also doesn't strike me as the type to have hard feelings about it, but what do I know.
It's still kinda sad though.
Basically we traded away negligible time on the court, for possible time on the court this year and some financial help.
This actually does help us this year in a title run because a body is better than nobody.
