Donovan has never been good in the clutch.Donovan was good in the fourth and in the clutch once upon a time. This year has been a different story.
EFG% and USG% throughout his career in the clutch:
17-18: 45.3%, 42.4%
18-19: 39.4%, 43.7%
19-20: 47.1%, 40.5%
20-21: 42.6%, 43.4%
21-22: 44.8%, 37.6%
It's not a coincidence that this team was relatively fine in the clutch in the Quin Snyder era (REALLY clutch in 16-17 actually), and then from 17-18 onwards they've been consistently terrible. Because it's consistently been Mitchell hero ball.
5 years of this garbage is even more damning on Quin than it is on Mitchell if we're being totally honest.
