David Aldridge: Jazz come to terms with Jamaal Tinsley

Are you 10? Good come back. You could be drinking a full glass of my foot in your mouth.

Don't you twirps have an opinion. Or is all you do just bash other people's opinion.

Admit it! You can't come up with anything. All you got is kissing KOC's butt. Get down and Warship him losers because you will never ever be smart enough to think for yourself

No, this is just me not really caring about our short term back up PG position (in a rebuilding year no less). This is simply a stop gap until the Jazz can find a player they actually like. No need to tie themselves down to a multiple year contract.

Of course this is all speculation. I will be slightly upset if Tinsley got a 3 year deal. I'm almost sure it will be a 1 year thing.

Almost as bad as someone who is afraid to give their opinion on their "main" account <whistling>

Wow I hope this is not true. Tinsley sucked even when people thought he had potential.

Anyone remember when he was entering the draft and he said he didn't want to play for Utah and/or refused to work out for the Jazz? I'm not too fresh on the details but I remember something about him not wanting to go to Utah.

Why the heck are we signing him? I'd rather bring back Price and Watson over him. I'd be happier if the Jazz just signed some total unknown, undrafted rookie with potential ala Wes Matthew a couple years ago. Bringing in some over the hill vet who wasn't any good in his prime and has a bad attitude on top of that. Wow, I hope it's a hoax.

I don't remember that but you might be right. He is preferable to Price though, who does not have even basic point guard skills.

I know that I am new to posting here but relax buddy. No need to get so hostile.

As far as the signing, not sure I like it but will wait to get irate until I hear the details and see how he is in camp. Let's hope that they still sign Watson too.

"Jamaal has great leadership and he's been tremendous with our young players," Musselman said. "He is so unselfish -- and his unselishness is contagious. He's like a great quarterback ... he just has an unbelievable understanding of who and when to get shots for our guys."

With NBA training camps opening on Dec. 9, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the veteran earn at least a temporary call-up to show that he still has what it takes. If his attitude isn't going to be a problem -- and since it hasn't been so far in the D-League, one would think he'll just fine in the NBA -- teams could do much worse when searching the free agent crop for a veteran point guard.

Tinsley attended Tilden High School in Brooklyn, NY where I had by far my most memorable high school basketball experience.

A riot broke out at the end of half time and my entire team had to scramble to the locker room to prevent from being beaten to death.

We won by forfeit. :)

Thanks for proving my "humbled" theory to be true. I'm sure NAOS will deny this as him sucking it up just so he can get into the NBA and sabotage the Jazz!

Well I don't think this lone article proves anything, it did allow me to exhale. I trust KOC. The passes in the video looked pretty good also.

People..

Can we stick to the business of discussing the Jazz? Instead of opnion bashing, spell checking, insults, or whether or not I leave a quote.

Do you, or do you not have an opinion about basketball? What is the point of being here?

We are going to carry 3 point guards. Tinsley on a one year deal isn't the worst idea. If he becomes a locker room problem- cut him.

Salty?

Ok Archie Moses. Ill bite.

"Have you seen my baseball"

I can only remember hearing that quote come out of a retards mouth.

That makes you a retard

Just my two cents: I always thought Tinsley was a better than average NBA PG, who just didn't reach his potential. I read an article about him recently and I can't recall where that he has turned a new leaf on his career, and understands that he was always too selfish in the past, and enjoyed his time in the D-League, being a pass first point guard.

Maybe the Jazz are going to carry three point guards and Earl won't commit yet ???

KOC Needs to decided whether or not we seriously want to win or go straight into rebuilding. This isn't a winning formula. I can guarantee you that!

Really does anyone think Al Jefferson is goona lead us to a Championship. Or more importantly is this team gonna win a championship? The answer is NO!

Year after year after year after year after year this goes on. We take a step forward then 2 steps back then 3 steps side ways then 1 step forward then 2 step sidways then 3 steps back.

What a joke?

The proof is in the pudding for anyone willing to argue. Where are the rings? No excuses! We have had great talent here. But the Jazz never can close the deal because they continue play it safe

And who are the jazz going to get to win a championship? All about big markets and players own the league. I give koc props from what he has been able to do being we are in utah.
