50So, question for the forum:
How big would the lead need to be with 8 or so minutes left in the game for you to not be worried about the Jazz losing?

He plays with such energy and force… he also does not hesitate on the shots he’s supposed to shoot… was glad Quin made the switch. He has a few dumb mistakes but overall I don’t think it’s close.House is a better player than Royce. No question in my mind.
They should have a couple seasons ago.Jazz should stop letting Mitchell run the offense in crunch minutes
I had visions of a whole new style of basketball being played when I watched House play. This guy plays in FFW.A few takeaways that I think are pretty obvious:
1. Closing with House. He’s not gun shy on shooting when he has to and his defense is better.
2. Juancho over Gay. Just his energy and hustle really stands out when he’s in the game. I don’t care if he was our big signing. The guy that was a throw-in from our salary dump is who we need to roll with.
3. Limit Don handling the ball down the stretch. By limit it, I mean don’t let him dominate it.
If Quin can do the above (tall order), we may salvage something. Maybe.
I think tonight was Gays last shot. We tried Gay… we tried so hard to make Gay work but it just ain’t working. Back to back so Juan will be fresh tomorrow… guessing we rest like everyone.A few takeaways that I think are pretty obvious:

Royce seems so close to Don that he¡s probably in the same twilight mental zone.I still think Royce is better than House overall, but something weird is up with Royce.
Remember to start the year Royce would throw down some pretty monstrous dunks? That has happened in a long time.
I Couldn’t believe he finished that dunk tonight. That stretch in the first half with him and JC was electric.I had visions of a whole new style of basketball being played when I watched House play. This guy plays in FFW.
Hallelujah the cult needs a twistA few takeaways that I think are pretty obvious:

Shocked Quin let house finish over O’Neale. Give him credit for that.O'Neale was -13 tonight, House +15.
I haven't watched many games lately, I did watch tonight. House blew my ****ing mind. Like I was reconceptualizing what basketball could be after a couple of his more impressive plays. I was imagining basketball played in FFW mode. This guy seemed like he could do things in 1/4 the time it would take a normal human to do that thing. What does Royce do better than House?
And why isn’t Juancho getting any burn? What does Gay do better than Juancho? Especially in a game where Jackson is tearing us a new one? Why not try and match length with length?
So good feelings aside, Don and Rudy didn't share a lot of minutes tonight. Seemed like they were having their minutes staggered to avoid having them both on the floor. Obviously in OT they both played, but that wasn't the story during regulation.
So the Don to Rudy pass stat is a little bit irrelevant since they don't play together much? That actually isn't unusual at all. Quin always staggers their minutes so that one of them is on the court at all times. Rudy and Mike always play a lot of their minutes with the bench unit.
I agree with that. Team was much better balance tonight. Don did not try to do all alone ( 8 assist for conley) and defense was correct. Real issue is on O Neal.Don wasn't great tonight, but he was playing with a lot of energy and effort. It helps set the tone when he does this. Every night isn't going to be a highlight reel, but you can always play hard.
