House is outplaying Royce in basically every facet of the game right now. He brings an energy and intensity that this team is sorely lacking. Unlike Royce, he isn't afraid to shoot, the moment never seems too big for him. He is our best perimeter defender and navigates screens far better than anyone on the team. He needs to be in the starting/closing lineup and play over 30 minutes a game for the rest of the season, and especially in the playoffs.

I told that 10 times before and I totally agree.

If House isn't starting come post-season I'll have to fully jump on the Fire Snyder bandwagon. It's so obvious he is an upgrade over Royce. I understand you have to make these changes carefully and be loyal to guys but we're at the end of the road here and a disappointing season will have major consequences throughout the whole franchise. Just do what you gotta do.

Ehhh... don't care about starts... only care about minutes. Split the minutes so House gets slightly more than Royce and finishes the game. Can't have him checking out. House is better in chaos and we have more chaos with JC and the bench units.

Give em both the 24-28 minutes... Royce can play with more energy maybe... Spare Bogey here and there. Saves Quin and Royce the awkwardness of a benching. I also don't want to put the starting pressure on House.

House is what a fully-developed Royce would look like. More athletic, better defense, better shooter. But Snyder is still being blackmailed by Royce for whatever reason.

Royce just gets these streaks where he is afraid to shoot the ball. House has that aggressive, cutthroat, take no prisoners mentality. He doesn't hesitate shooting.

House is what we need.

Why would we bench Mr Steal Yo Ball he’s going to be on an all-defensive team.

I wouldn't start him, but I'd gradually start increasing House's minutes and lowering Royce's. Hell maybe I'd even rest Royce for the rest of the season.

I still think overall Royce is the superior player for this team, but he doesn't seem healthy and he's being overworked.

It's not loyalty, it's trust.

Royce is just a very trustworthy player for the most part. He doesn't make many mental errors (other than not shooting) and he's a better shooter than House. He also makes faster passing decisions than House, but I think House is improving slowly as he gets more time in the system.

Hopefully Royce can get some rest and be ready for the playoffs. The Royce hate is at an all time high, but we forget he was a beast in last year's playoffs (both series and consistent game to game).

Glad someone else can see this.

At least Snyder closed with House yesterday. That was a plus.

Also it's funny the thing we are most pissed about with Royce is the rebounds he has given up when Royce is clearly the superior rebounder.

Royce is a better shooter, a better rebounder, a better ball mover, makes quicker decisions.

House is definitely the superior man defender and he has a lot more hustle currently.

You have to be a complete reactionary to actually think House is better in every facet of the game.

I feel Royce is afraid of big moments. Maybe I’m wrong. But if it’s crunch time in a must win game five—whoever wins the game will win the series—and the ball swings to Royce to take an open three, I don’t trust him to take it. Don’t have a problem with him or any player missing a good shot but he’ll catch, hold it for ten years, decide to put the ball on the floor and dribble to the foul line, panic when the defense picks him up and huck it to Donovan who then has to throw up a prayer with two defenders right in his face.

I think House wouldn’t be afraid to let it fly. And we desperately need House’s size on the perimeter, with Mitchell and Conley. I just think he’s the much better fit for this starting lineup at this point in time.

Royce definitely hesitates too much. All too often he gets the ball and he's open or at least has a good look and instead of letting it fly he holds it above his head looking for someone to pass to. Not sure what the problem is there. Lack of confidence for some reason? But house does not suffer from that and is nearly as good a shooter.
