Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Okay, let me rephrase - we don't need 3 small guards who aren't good defenders.

We need length and athleticism around Don.

Trade Conley

They also need to shoot cuz DOnovan has to have a spaced floor.

ANd you also need another playmaker cuz Donovan can't handle a bigger offensive load, we've already seen what his D level is at when he has a ton of offensive help.

Trash.

Everybody on our team is a below average perimeter defender. That makes all of them struggle.

tbh, Donovan and JC are our weakest perimeter defenders. Donovan was targeted on D every single game in the post-season. He was bad. Royce is okay depending on matchup: he gets blown by quicker players. Conley is too small to contest shots but at least he is smart and knows where to be, which helps him in getting deflections/steals. Boggie is slow and screws up the rotations but when focused, he is at least decent. He can play tough D against bigger guys too (he just doesn't have the tools but at least he cares). JC gets blown by and is so lost on D that he nevers recovers fast enough to contest.

Watching Luka makes me so jealous we only have Donovan.

Today I became OK with running back Rudy/Donovan, but damn I just want to tank so we can get an actual star, not a fake one like Donovan.

Lopo "Jazz dont have perimeter defenders"

Gobert isolated w/ no help on the best offensive player in the NBA in the biggest defensive possession of the 1st round series.

No they arent.

Conley/Royce are both solid defenders. Gobert, as far as more "traditional" bigs go, is the best switch defender in the NBA. You put any of those guys on these good defensive teams and they are going to help elevate a team's defense.

Bogey certainly sucks and misses rotations, but he at least tries.

Clarkson/Donovan are space cadets who barely try and are the main reason the Jazz struggle. They deserve 80% of the blame as a duo.
Conley and Royce WERE both quality defenders. Now they are both bad defenders.

They arent.

I do think Royce is bad when asked to guard certain types of players, but overall he is a good defender. Same with Conley (though obviously height is a limitation). Both are leagues better than Donovan or Clarkson defensively.

I mean, jsut watch the playoffs.

Royce/Conley/Bogey could play on these teams and not hurt their defense.

Donovan would literally wreck all of these team's defenses with how much he space cadeted or didnt even try.

Yeah Google Brunson making Rudy Gobert look like a fool.

Rudy is a God lol

Yeah. It's all Donovan's fault.

You're such a damn crybaby. Always got to blame somebody for your pathetic life. Such a sad soul.

Yeah, arguably his playmaking has gotten worse, which showed in his poor play in the 4Q the entire season. He needs another playmaker next to him, while improving his own in order to open up the rest of his game.

Gobert's defensive lowlights would be Donovan Mitchell's highlights.

ANd this ist even a lowlight. Brunson being doing this **** to everyone in the NBA playoffs. The Jazz just dont like to help anyone on defense unless Rudy is the one helping. 4 dudes with their eyes glued to their man while they stand around. No help, no digging, no effort from anyone but Rudy.

Yeah, so the perfect player next to Don is tall, athletic, can shoot, and a playmaker.

Crazy, I'm sure the Jazz havent thought about adding more All-Star wings to their team.
