What's new

NBALP prices

I couldn't watch single game last season because of my mil duty. But friends say last year LP was free only first week here in Turkey. I hope this year it will be like in US. Because after that free time I will be stuck with crappy links for most of the games.

last year, they showed games on nba tv and ntv-ntvspor which belongs to Dogus Yayin group. And as far as i know they gonna resign the contract this year as well(we will find out this week or early next week).than you will have NBA TV which shows minimum one live game a night(sometimes 2),than ntv-ntvspor shows one or 2 games every friday, saturday night and sunday evening.ntv and ntv spor shows mostly the games of teams like utah, orlando and chicago where turkish players play. And i think there will be more utah games due to enes&memo combo.

so had a chat with those "sale represintive.

i told her it should be "cheap" cus back to back to back and 6 games in 8 nights, the quality will suffer etc etc. long story short

only thing they could say is its priced that way because you get playoffs and finals (whoopty dippity doo previous year we got thta for only 20 euros extra)
and its also expensive because we get android an ios apps so i can watch it on my mobile or tablet (whoopty suckkitdy doo) why would i watch in on crappy 2-4 small phone. or on a 10 inch tablet.

well i did my part. if more people complain about the price and don't buy it this year maybe next year the price will go down.

Prices are right (for me internationally, anyway) - $220 for all teams (includes season, playoffs, and finals) or $170 for one team.

I think I'll bite -- I'm in Japan now and I'd still like to be able to watch games on my phone when I am out, and have them archived on the site for a bit incase I miss a game. Also, the yen is so strong right now that it makes the price seem so cheap over here...

its $139 or $28/month x5 for full pass and $109 for team pass all including post season here. it's expensive enough considering that the price is half a month's minimum wage.

overall almost the same as last year but they really could've given at least 15-20% off given the fewer games.

what cuntry are you in then?

i'm in netherlands.
maybe i'm just a complainer because in years prior i had it good. maybe it's just the eurozone economy. or maybe i'm just pissed off that the lockout didnt fix the nba

...I'm planning on watching the least amount of NBA basketball I've ever done in my life this year! I'm certainly not going to lay down one plug nickel to see the worst basketball in NBA history!

im from the philippines.
it was a blown chance for the NBA to 'give' back something for the fans specially those who would go to the extent of paying something directly to them

Seeing as all but just a few first round games are not televised I dont see how adding the playoffs is really sweetening the deal. Unless you want local broadcasts?

If they are seriously going to keep the price at $169 for a shortened season that is ****ed up. They SHOULD be offering it for free or at the very least 50% for making fans put up with their ********. $169 for a crappy compressed 66 game season is outrageous.

Thanks aybars. I hope NTV/NTVSpor renew their contract. I've heard that TRT and some pay channels are interested in also. You know that would be a nigthmare.

as a jazz fan from nj, who's gotten the LP for 5+ years im furious!! i wanna watch our kids play but i will not giving into Stern & pay these prices.
with 20% of the games gone AND them playing the remaining in a condensed time, they should charge at least 30% less (even though I would really want 40%).

im so disgusted!

Actually updated the site today. Called direct tv and they are giving it to u.s. customers for 159. A whole 10 dollar break. Pretty greedy. I still will order. What other choice is there sans watching some crap Internet feed.
