Woods numbers have always been volume stats on terrible teams and he's on an expiring contractI don't understand why Houston got so little for Christian Wood.

Yeah they definitely know that they're taking whichever one of Chet, Jabari, or Banchero falls to them at #3. They said that moved Wood with that in mind and so that they could get Sengun more minutes next season. My guess is they know they’re drafting a big and Wood isn’t on their timeline. It also feels like they made the first trade they could the second they decided they should.
I wonder if passing on Mobley has anything to do with this.
I think the biggest thing is moving Don onto the ball and allowing him to play PG so he's not extremely undersized on defense. Adding a big wing that can score and create their own offense without being a total defensive liability would be my next step.Besides Conley.. what does building around Don look like? A defensive center who doesn’t require touches? Spot up shooters to spread the floor? What exactly is this magic build that Don deserves?
Bogey is on an expiring deal- They're much less likely to be able to extract value out of Royce/Bogey the longer they wait to trade them.
So I'm being unreasonable without self awareness again...
If we had both Gobert and Mitchell fully committed, the Finals.Be honest. What is the ceiling with both and “new support cast?” Especially, when we have 0 assets and older declining players.
He's gotten pretty frustrated with you, and has crossed the line..So I'm being unreasonable without self awareness again...
Just answer these questions objectively...
- didn't Cy attack me for years?
You think people are quivering with fear over an internet loudmouth?- didn't people side with Cy because they themselves didn't want to be attacked?
Repetition.- didn't Cy just get banned for inappropriate content?
Did he? I don't recall that alt being definitively identified.- didn't Cy just get busted for using alternate accounts to try to continue his antics?
I wonder if you understand how insulting this is to the non-Cy posters who disagree with you.I know I'm stubborn as all get out, but I'm a fair guy. If you actually knew me, you knew this amount of hate on this forum against me is crazy as hell. But it's been a work in progress by the biggest weasel of them all for a while now.
So I agree with you on what the Jazz need… but I don’t think that’s unique to building around Don. Do that while keeping Don and Rudy and we are back to asking if we might be actual contenders again.I think the biggest thing is moving Don onto the ball and allowing him to play PG so he's not extremely undersized on defense. Adding a big wing that can score and create their own offense without being a total defensive liability would be my next step.
Our most pressing task is finding a good coach. We all, at least to a certain degree, love and appreciate Quin Snyder. However, from the 2021 playoffs through last season and postseason, Quin just flat out failed. Lack of adjustments, lack of flexibility, leadership, blown leads, on and on. A good new coach is key no matter if we keep the duo, trade one or trade both. Our team needed a new voice just like Quin said.Besides Conley.. what does building around Don look like? A defensive center who doesn’t require touches? Spot up shooters to spread the floor? What exactly is this magic build that Don deserves?
Gobert is our best defender at any position on the floor. Bogdanovic can switch a little, but that's a case of being equally mediocre everywhere. I agree on the rest.As for the roster, we need flexibility. Once Joe went down, we literally had 1 guy out of our primary 6 who was built to guard multiple positions (Royce). Conley, Don, Clarkson, Bojan and Rudy are primarily one position defenders. You simply cannot win series without defensive flexibility.
If we get enough defense from out non-centers, they won't be hard to find.We need a roster that can feature a stretch 5 option. Doesn't have to be a philosophy we use more than 20 minutes a night, but it has to be an option. I think we intended that last year, but Quin never utilized Rudy Gay or Paschall enough during the regular season so we could use it when we needed it in the playoffs.
Could you point out where I disagreed with you on Cy's actions? If not, consider your response as an example of the problem other people have with you.I just don't what to tell you. You either saw what Cy did for years or you didn't. His actions are his actions.
What annoys people is how you seem to twist what they say, and just a paragraph ago when you implied that I disagreed with you on what Cy did.I type like I'm sitting in a barbershop Coming to America style just shooting from the hip making my arguments. Some people just take this stuff too seriously.
That's a pretty high opinion of yourself. You're not the center of anyone's world on this board. If you want to find a way to get upset, you'll get upset. And if I'm your FoxNews or CNN and you're on the other side, you're going to dislike what I say regardless of what I say. For some of you, that's where we are.

The ignore button is a helluva tool.I am here for the draft news, not the internet forum spats, drama, and counseling.
The best advice... mute the guy you don't like. Then it doesn't matter what he says.
Now, we are like 1 week from the draft. Things should start to get real or many of us will be dissapointed.
I would imagine we are discussing one of three trades with Atlanta:
#1 pro Utah - Rudy for Collins, Hunter and a pick: pretty aggressive. Would we sacrifice the pick to have the luxury savings? What does Atlanta do with Capela?
#2 even deal - Rudy Gobert, Rudy Gay, and NAW for Collins, Capela, Hunter and a pick: seems pretty fair, but we do take on $4 million more in salaries.
#3 pro Atlanta - Rudy and Bojan for Collins, Capela, Hunter and a pick: what a steal for Atlanta here. Probably too rich for our blood.
