Hoopsrumors is reporting the Jazz are signing Darryl Morsell from Marquette a 6'5" guard. He was Big 10 defensive player of the year at Maryland in 2021. He averaged about 14 ppg last season.

He worked out for the Jazz before the draft and one of the beat reporters liked his game.

He plays beastly defense so I'm cool with it. So does Forrest and he's in the rotation now; and Morsell is a better shooter than Trent, so it's a nice signing.

For all you Jared Wilson-Frame fans, he signed to play with Orlando's summer league team. I guess he didn't impress in the veteran's minicamp.
