Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

The great thing about the Lakers, they extended Rob Pelinka LOL. They're set up to suck for years to come

Minnesota

4-2

As of today would be the #24 pick in the draft.

Brooklyn

1-5

As of today would be the #3 pick in the draft.

Philadelphia

3-4

As of today would be the #12 pick in the draft.

We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.

Updated. Our pick currently would be the #25 pick in the draft.

Minnesota

4-3

As of today would be the #19 pick in the draft.

Brooklyn

1-5

As of today would be the #2 pick in the draft.

Philadelphia

3-4

As of today would be the #13 pick in the draft.

We own Minnesota’s pick unprotected and get the lesser of Brooklyn/Philadelphia/Houston’s picks.

Updated. Minnesota lost to San Antonio today.

Looks like the lesser of Brooklyn/HOU/Philly would be the Philly pick this year?
I still think the nets get rolling at some point. Durant and Kyrie are just too good to not be a playoff team if both stay healthy.

Why don't we get the Nets pick straight up again this year? What is the reason it is the lessor of Nets/76rs/Rockets?

Wasn't it just O'Neal for the pick straight up?

Brooklyn declined to 1-5 .. lol.. tied for the worst in the East.
Strange phrasing.
It's like someone said to the Nets "Would you like to be 2-4?"
Then the Nets said "No thank you, I decline that offer. I would prefer to be 1-5, thank you very much."

I mean it is technically correct. Just sounds weird to my ears.

Haha.. I know man, when I was typing I was like "Normally people say .. the Jazz improves to 5-2... what do you say when they'd just lost?"

So I thought the opposite of 'improve' is 'decline' right?

Haha.. but yeah I was a bit iffy about it.. LOL ..

Wolves fans are already getting a little restless, some questioning why they didn't go for Poeltl instead of Gobert. They also seem to want to get rid of D'lo. Ordinarily I would be all for taking advantage of that, but we already have all the picks they can trade :)

While I'd find it comical if somehow all three teams landed in the lottery, Philly and Brooklyn even at 80% are good enough to make the playoffs in the East. More than likely, the Royce pick ends in the 20's somewhere.

Basically Houston is in the lotto guaranteed. Brooklyn could straight implode. What we are rooting for imo is Philly to have an injury and hit the play-in and lose. Its a long shot but the pick being in the late teens early 20s is better than what we all assumed was going to be in the late 20s most likely.

As in the East is weak this year?

I see it the opposite, and think the East is a free for all honestly.

agreed. Bucks. celtics, heat, raptors and a few others im sure im forgetting could finish ahead of the sixers and nets no problem.
