2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Conventional wisdom says that the Jazz can sit at #9 and have their choice of Black, Wallace, George, Bufkin or Hood-Schifino, all of whom could get drafted in the 10 - 15 range. So they should be able to choose their PGOTF. Then at #16, shooters like Whitehead and Sensabaugh, or upside plays like GG and Bilal, would make sense. At 28, they can pick an athletic defensive wing like Cissoko, Rupert or Walsh.

The Jazz don't really need to make moves to have a good draft. They'll just miss out on the top 7 or 8 guys.

Already mentioned this awhile back, but Cason Wallace plays with the most Jimmy Butler like attitude. There should be a higher value on that than there seems to be.
Attitude? Near complete opposites. Cason is very mild mannered and quiet. Jimmy is a loud mouth **** talker

Man, I wish the Thompson twins played in a better/more conventional league. I was watching some of their OTE games and it's just impossible to tell how good they really are. They look so quick, and big, and impressive athletically, but everyone around them looks so bad.

On the other hand, they look so out of control and all they do is play on the fast break, and they look bored, but it's really hard to fault them when their competition is so inferior.

I don't think anyone can really properly evaluate them based on OTE (not breaking news). I think you just have to look at their physical profiles and abilities and make best guesses on how that's going to translate against NBA competition. I'm not a huge risk taker, so I would be super scared to draft one of them.
