Oh geez. If this scenario happens and the jazz pass on that Jazzfanz would riot. I know most want Hendricks, but he was already taken. Who was Utah supposed to pass on Thompson for?

I don’t have enough info on Ausar.

He is supposed to be shooting guard in the NBA but his shot is suspect.. best case scenario he’s Andrew Wiggins.. currently the 4th best player on a team that didn’t make the conference finals.

Lack of 3 point shooting is very damaging in todays NBA.

Can he come out of his brothers shadow and play the point? If so I’m game. But that’s a big IF right now.

He can. He averaged one tenth of an assist less than Amen while possessing the ball less and is a better ball handler. He can play point. He was also mvp of that league or something two years in a row over Amen. And that’s while being in the shadow of his bro.

Tony Jones thinks Ausar can play the point, but it will be a bit of transition.

that's how i feel regardless. two things 1) the guy you move up for might be there at 9 anyway, and 2) the guy you would have taken at 9 could very well be as good or better than the guy you move up for - the guys available from 5-9 are just so close - it's a crapshoot on who goes where and who ends up the best. just doesn't make sense to lose an asset to move up from there, imo.

This is kind of where im at as well.
