Seems to me people have just been asking you to put your money where your mouth is, re: This thread. That is, are you willing to bet that Utah will win 10+ games or not? A willingness to bet that they'll win 1 after stating that they should win 10 is pretty ****ing vanilla, dude.

So you use some old battle as a diversion from your actual posts in this thread? I don't care about college football, but I'd be willing to make a second stupid bet with you that Utah will lose 3+ games next season(yes, I still remember our old bet, and I do still plan on paying you your $50, perhaps with interest, at some point in the distant future...that's how I roll). Double or nothing, you in?

Dude, read it again. My post said even the haters would have a hard time finding 3 losses out of those games. Some hater responded asking me to pick 10 wins. I said I would gladly, if they pick 10 BYU wins.

Dude, read this whole thread. You're only looking at the last few pages. It's 80+ pages long, and I got called a homer countless times.

I don't see how Utah loses more than 2 games, true.

So, if you want to pick which losses, I'll gladly bet you. Or were you just hoping to blindly throw out a guess and hope to get it right?

It's not the same with you GVC, because you haven't been taking shots at me at every opportunity for the past several years. If you had been, then yes, I would want to make you prove your knowledge in front of everyone too. But you haven't been, and you aren't even a college football fan, so it is totally different with you.

If you were a BYU fan that had taken countless shots at me and went out of your way to label me a homer with all the other BYU fans, then I would call you out and tell you to pick the 3 losses. And I would offer to pick 3 BYU losses too, just to see which one of us really knows what he's talking about and which doesn't.

Like I said, SalmonHobo is probably the only hater who could probably win this bet with me. But he is probably too smart to make the bet, and he isn't a BYU fan anyway.

I'm absolutely willing to pick 10 Utah wins as long as the person I'm betting picks 10 BYU wins.
This is about who knows their stuff, not about how good Utah will do.

To be clear, my original bet still stands. I only started changing it when nobody accepted.

The only 10 win statement I made was that I would gladly list 10 Ute wins as long as the other party listed 10 BYU wins, and we each pick our team in the head to head game. And if you were a college football fan, you'd understand that BYU plays at least 6 or 7 crappy teams. It shouldn't be too difficult to pick 10 wins.

And yes, I will absolutely back up that statement.

If you want to pick 3 losses, go for it. But I'm not going to just let you blindly guess and then pay you if you get lucky. This was about seeing a demonstration of the knowledge of the game. And it was directed at the people who have been taking shots at my supposed lack of knowledge of the game, for the past several years.

Are you really not getting this?

I never offered to bet on an over under. I offered to bet on which of us knows what he's talking about and which just likes to be cool on the internet.
