Why didn't they keep the center they traded to Cleveland? His contract was expiring. He seemed like a solid journeyman.
You missed Cash Considerations on that roster. Jazz traded jones for him.THT - Sexton - George - Dunn
Clarkson - Agbaji - (Juzang)
Markkanen - Fontecchio - Sensabaugh
Collins - Hendricks - Samanic - (Potter)
Kessler - Olynyk - Yurtseven
This is a third string guy, maybe look for a little upside with a team option on the second year. Funny how we are getting team options instead of player options now. . .Why didn't they keep the center they traded to Cleveland? His contract was expiring. He seemed like a solid journeyman.
I think it's smart. Prove to us you deserve another year. This is a third string guy, maybe look for a little upside with a team option on the second year. Funny how we are getting team options instead of player options now. . .
the 91 was in a u17 game or something.Last season he averaged 27 points 13 boards in the GLeague. He also once scored 91 points in a game in Europe. He's the missing piece.
He blew up the California Summer League that year. All I remember about this dude is watching him play in the vegas summer league two years ago. He didn't stand out, just liked hanging out at 3pt line 80% of the time.

The guy had a remarkable run during 2021/22 campaign and simply fell off the map last season due to injuries. If he can recover even 80% of his form from 21/22 this deal will be an absolute bargain.
I don't think there is a GM (or fan) in the world who doesn't prefer team options rather than player options, the dilemma is that two sides are negotiating. All that says is the position the player is in.I think it's smart. Prove to us you deserve another year.

You are better off terminating the contract a year early than providing a player option. There is never a situation when a player option will not screw you. Either they can get more money and bail, or they cannot and you are stuck paying above market rate.I don't think there is a GM (or fan) in the world who doesn't prefer team options rather than player options, the dilemma is that two sides are negotiating.
