I don't think Scoot is that bad of a pick. He's at least played professionally the last two seasons and should be a competent defender (relative to rookies)

I expect him to look really good from the get go and win ROY. If Lillard is gone to start the season then I think 18pts and 8asts a game is a pretty reasonable expectation for him. I also think he will be solid defensively.
