He traveled to one of the worst jails in America to be arrested and have his mugshot taken. Whether his cult buy it or not Trump himself will be changed by this and his image will suffer.

Sort of like how the image of rappers suffer after they get arrested? Remember that Trump's image to Trump's supporters is that Trump is a fighter. Do you think Trump looks contrite or defiant here in "one of the worst jails in America"?

He looks like a caricature of a tough guy. I think the 20% of Americans who identify as Republicans, aren't in the cult, but voted for him with a held nose are affected by his indictments and this ridiculous mugshot. At least I hope they are.

Honestly I think he looks silly. I know what you are getting at and his pose here will look like a warrior to his die-hard knob-gobblers. But to pretty much everyone else he looks like a petulant child.

That is exactly the look my son gave me at 4 years old when I told him he didn't get ice cream if he didn't clean his room. He had a fist raised though, so in that way he looked tougher than Trump.
