There is one amazing thing this planet has produced... intelligent self aware beings.

Yeah, sure except for nearly all of history as far back as we can look and in every direction. Evolution didn't start when humans came on the scene. Evolution is life trying to tilt the system for their advantage and the fossil record is littered with victims. Nothing humans have done in their collective history is even 0.1% as destructive as the Great Oxidation Event foisted on the planet by cyanobacteria.

I never claimed otherwise, and I’m very experienced in paleontology. Very experienced in that discipline. Did I mention the Permian extinction event is believed to have caused the extinction of ~90% of life on Earth? Actually, yes, I did mention that! By golly, humans weren’t around 250 million years ago, evolution must have started earlier, duh. Wipe out all humans ... zero intrinsic value ... we are a virus on the planet. Consuming and destroying everything we touch. If people are truly serious about saving the planet they need to look at reducing the number of humans...Eliminate the humans, save the planet. Simple.

He sees all humans including my kid and the kids of Fish's coworkers as exclusively vile, as "a virus on the planet", and calls for all of them to be eliminated.

I’m all for implanting a chip in humans upon their birth that prevents them from being able to procreate.

It can only be removed if certain criteria are met. Certain education, employment, and/or judicial requirements.

I could totally get behind this. At the very least implantable birth control for people procreating beyond their means. I know a couple who had to use their entire retirement savings to care for their grandchildren because their daughter kept having babies with different men, 6 in like 8 years. Not to mention the pressure on the welfare system and the added costs on the medical system since of course she couldn't pay for any of it nor care for the kids at all. So her parents stepped in, took on the entire family, and burned their entire savings to care for them. I'd say you get one kid delivered on Medicaid and with it birth control implants until you can show you can have a kid on your own dime, whether through insurance or higher income, proven family support, whatever. But you got the one kid so there is that. Or anything past that first kid is automatically put up for adoption. Idk, I could support many ideas like this.

Lol. I haven't policed a single person. Also haven't shamed a single person. In fact I dont even know a single person who sits in their car on break with it running. I just see lights on the car and exhaust coming out. I have no idea who is inside. I haven't named any names. Who are my compatriots? How are they calling for their kids deaths? I have yet to ever meet anyone who wants their kids to die. You are a strange duck and getting more unhinged by the day. Might want to seek help.

I guess, maybe(?), this reflects the difference between me and you. I am a GOOD man. When I read LogGrad98’s comment, I did not see true hatred of humanity, I heard a GOOD man’s PAIN at feeling the way he did. I heard a man feeling broken hearted at the state of affairs as he sees it, and as it applies to the natural world. That is how I interpreted his statement. Sadness, great sadness, I saw PAIN, VOICED AS BITTER ANGER. It seemed obvious to me. And that is very human, I do understand it, I’ve lashed out in anger and frustration in similar fashion over various issues. It’s human. I have empathy with LogGrad98. And that is the man I CHOSE to see in his comments. I have EMPATHY! All that I saw in reading LogGrad98’s first comment in this thread. And, I don’t think I should even have to explain such a thing!

You, on the other hand, in typical fashion, look for ways you can interpret his statement and mine as the statement of truly terrible human beings. I am going to assume you too are a good man. But you are willing to be a miserable troll, and quote people dishonestly, so complete meaning is missing. You did that. You thought “aha, two disgusting human beings, and I will prove it!”.

That is great Red but when someone starts talking about eliminating humans as the good thing to do, what I'm thinking is 'Red Flag Laws'. That isn't the troll in me but the father of an elementary aged kid.

Thanks Red. And yeah I finally saw the light and put him on ignore. He can spew all the **** he wants, I won't see it. He's a miserable human being who delights in hurting others. The lowest of the low. He can go in the first wave of euthanasia as we cleanse the earth of humans to save it.
