The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

“The people who know Trump best won’t support him. Why should you?”

Former Attorney General Bill Barr called Trump “a consummate narcissist” who “constantly engages in reckless conduct”

Dictators like Russia’s Vladimir Putin think Trump is “a laughing fool and they’re fully prepared to take advantage of him,” said former National Security Adviser John Bolton in other footage.

Former Communications Director Alyssa Farah Griffin called Trump “unfit” for office again, a claim echoed by former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham who said she was “terrified” of his 2024 campaign.

Nikki Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, warned Trump puts the American military in danger.

Trump’s own Vice President Mike Pence’s refusal to endorse Trump is also highlighted.

And former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci’s condemnation of Trump as a “domestic terrorist” is mentioned too.

Criticism also came from former Defense Secretary John Mattis, former National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, former Joint Chiefs of Staff chair Mark Milley, former White House chiefs of staff Mick Mulvaney and John Kelly, former Secretaries of State Mike Pompeo and Rex Tillerson, former Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and former Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

From the comments section: I always knew that Trump voters would not listen to a democrat telling them the obvious... but I honestly thought they might start listening to former Trump loyalists (fellow Republicans). I was wrong... because that's how cults work. Anyone who stands up to the cult leader is ostracized, banished, vilified ruined. We keep waiting for Trump to do something we think that nobody in their right mind would be ok with, then the problem would solve itself... but that doesn't happen. The lower Trump sinks in his depravity, the lower they set the bar, the more excuses they make, the more denials they come up with. It's maddening.. it's exhausting

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) finally found some common ground with Democrats.

“Our Republican majority is a complete failure,” she wrote on X

“Tomorrow Speaker Johnson is funding the government that has created this invasion,” she wrote. “I’m voting NO! SHUT IT DOWN!”

Republicans had a chance to pass a bipartisan border bill that included funding for many conservative priorities, but turned against it when ordered to do so by Donald Trump, who didn’t want to give President Joe Biden a legislative victory ahead of this year’s election.

“What does a Chinese foreign agent, Russian disinformation and a felon in jail have in common? James Comer,” said Moskowitz of Comer.

The dig is a nod to Gal Luft, who Comer touted as a whistleblower in the Biden family probe and who officials alleged to have acted as an unregistered foreign agent for the Chinese government.

It also refers to ex-FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who was charged with lying about his Biden bribe claims, and Jason Galanis, who testified to the committee remotely while serving a 14-year prison sentence for fraud schemes.

But dude, do you remember how cheap gas was though? I didn't get to buy a lot of it because the entire world had shut down, so I didn't drive much, but I'm pretty sure the reason it was so cheap was because Trump did a deal or something. Did you know he is a businessman?

Mr Pence has acknowledged that the phone conversation with Mr Trump took place but he has never confirmed any details of it. But at the same time, he has written about Mr Trump’s efforts to pressure him into trying to unlawfully prevent certification of their loss to Mr Biden and Ms Harris, including one conversation in which he berated the then-vice president as “too honest” and warned him that “hundreds of thousands are gonna hate your guts” and “people are gonna think you’re stupid” were he to not try to prevent the counting of electoral votes from swing states won by the Democratic ticket.

He has also written about his actions and feelings that day, when he was forced to flee the Senate chamber as a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol and called for him to be hanged.

In his memoir, So Help Me God, Mr Pence writes that he “just shook [his] head” when he saw Mr Trump’s tweet.

“The truth was, as reckless as the president’s tweet was, I really didn’t have time for it. Rioters were ransacking the Capitol. … The president had decided to be part of the problem. I was determined to be part of the solution. I ignored the tweet and got back to work,” he said.

Wait... YOu all were the angry hateful ones when Trump wanted to reopen the economy in 2 weeks. You Democrats(you personally being an admitted marxist) did not allow him to reopen. My goodness you guys forget how mean and hateful and downright fascist you were... You don't remember how amazing angry you all got while you all were violently rioting every day and killing children over a rapist when Trump wanted to reopen? This is as bad as @fishonjazz thinking a rap video is real life. Very very decieving dudes. Trying to pin your wanting the economy to fail and wishing death just to hurt Trump.

WASHINGTON — With his hoped-for Easter timeline having come and gone, President Donald Trump now appears more determined than he has ever been to open up the economy with a "big bang" early next month, according to multiple people familiar with the decision-making process.
"Reopening is both an economic and a public health question," New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Saturday, "and I'm unwilling to divorce the two. You can't ask the people of this state or this country to choose between lives lost and dollars gained."

@LogGrad98 Sorry it's not a music video that you embarrassingly thought was real while trying to troll me but...

Donald Trump Charges Questioned After AOC Declares RICO 'Not a Crime'

During the exchange, Ocasio-Cortez asked Bobulinski to specifically name crimes he witnessed Biden commit, "Is it your testimony today that you personally witnessed President Joe Biden commit a crime?"

In response, Bobulinksi said, "Yes...You asked me to answer the question, I answered the question, RICO, you're obviously not familiar with, corruption."

However, before Bobulinksi could continue, Ocasio-Cortez interjected by stating, "Excuse me, sir, RICO is not a crime, it is a category. What is the crime?"

Newsweek has reached out to Ocasio-Cortez's office via email for comment.

Since Ocasio-Cortez's comments, some have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to point out Trump's RICO charges in Georgia.

Trump and 18 co-defendants were indicted by a Georgia grand jury in August and face criminal racketeering charges for allegedly attempting to overturn the state's electoral results in the 2020 election won by Biden. Trump, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee, has pleaded not guilty to all 13 charges against him and has repeatedly said the case is part of a political witch hunt.

Or those damn Democrats! Democrats killing everybody up in here! You know why Democrats don't care about old people? Because they all kill their own mothers by the age of 12, they don't even know what old people are!

Lol

Oh well well well look who finally showed up, the guy who liked a post. You are the real isis. Watch out, I may post 3 posts in a row repeating myself in each post without taking a breath!
Planned Parenthood staff and managers appeared to discuss the sale of aborted babies’ body parts and other gruesome abortion practices in videos viewed publicly for the first time this week by lawmakers during a hearing in Washington, D.C.

At the Tuesday hearing, called “Investigating the Black Market of Baby Organ Harvesting,” Center for Medical Progress (CMP) President David Daleiden told lawmakers that videos obtained by his organization showed Planned Parenthood revealing that it had a “financial incentive” to sell the body parts of aborted babies and discussing their brutal abortion practices

“These video clips from the subpoenaed congressional footage are just a small part of incredibly disturbing and incriminating undercover conversations that prove Planned Parenthood sells baby parts,” Daleiden said. “Planned Parenthood and their allies tried to cover up this footage for eight years because of the brutal facts it reveals about their taxpayer-funded business to kill and sell vulnerable infants.”

The house Republicans are a **** show.

Says the blatant propagandist that has to use clearly edited video to make a point. You never addressed why you have to flat out lie to make a point. How is anyone supposed to take you seriously when you blatantly lied fish? The party literally selling ther dead childrens body parts to the black market pointing at others. The party that is chopping off their own childrens body parts. Feeding them drugs that completely destroy puberty. What's a woman? Democrats can't even answer that. Basic biology that a kindergartener knows....

Though I agree MTG is terrible. Hell a good chunk of the party is. As I said yesterday she's just a smarter AOC but that saying very little. I personally dislike a huge chunk of the Republican party. I can admit that. You... need lies. It's insulting to us intellects that know what a woman is that you would even mention us. Learn to decipher a rap video over reality then we can talk.

‘Woke’ people more likely to be unhappy, anxious and depressed, new study suggests

"WePubwIcans ArE shET Shew, Trump trump trump trump trump trump trump trump trump trump"

You condemned these sort of clips from Trump speeches.

Great intellectual response as usual. You're just muddying up the waters instead of addressing anything I said. How about you use words and explain yourself for once? I take it you can formulate more than one sentence at a time, right? I've never seen it. Ever but Try it... I condemned blatant obvious clips that were cut on purpose. The clips I posted literally admit you guys sell your children body parts to people. I mean... What do you think abortion is? Holding hands and giggling like they do in the video because a child's eye fell out? Explain to me exactly what parts are edited like I did with your blatant propaganda video fish embarrassingly fell for.

“If I’m seeing that I’m in fear that it’s about to come to the umbilicus [navel], I might ask for a second set of forceps to hold the body at the cervix and pull off a leg or two, so it’s not PBA [partial-birth abortion],” Schutt-Aine said, according to the CMP video.

Don't worry guys, its ok for Democrats to cry about stealing elections but nobody else. Anybody wanna bet @Red cant provide a single ounce of evidence or the quotes where "For years, Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that if he doesn’t win the 2024 presidential election, he is willing to cheat and steal it."?

I'll wait Red... I'll be waiting a while as there is none and you are just pushing your usual lies. You hypocrites arrest Trump for saying the election is rigged. You take him off of ballots illegally. You spent the last 3 years crying about it, but hey it's ok for Red and Biden to do it. Nobody else. Let's not mention how your own judge valued Mar A Lago at 18 million when the property is well worth hundreds of millions... All so you addicts can hurt him financially...

Unlike you the liar I can provide facts that you are the ones rigging the election. I mean you illegally, unconstitutionally, took a president off of the ballots. True of false? Now you tell me where Trump has done anything even close to what your hypocrite *** party did? Like OB you can't use words but try. Your words not others, try using YOUR words. For once. While you're at it... Can you show me examples of other countries literally arresting leading presidential candidates? I can provide Hitler doing it. Stalin... Mao... but besides that most party aren't evil like the Democrat party. Oh and one more thing... AOC says RICO is not a crime, yet your own party has arrested a leading political candidate on RICO charges. Explain that in your own words instead of propaganda that you use please. Now run away red. RUN!!! (can any of you outside of OB actually use words or just what you're told to think?)

Trolling 101: accuse others then do what you accuse them of. It's all part of the act. Now he'll pivot and work on gaslighting everyone he didn't really do that while doubling down on incendiary accusations, and likely some ad hominem and straw men to boot.

Then of course he'll go after me somehow, other accusing me of trolling then going all in on dems wanting to kill everyone.

We do have some committed trolls, I'll give them that.

I'm seeing that there is a lot of oxygen given to trolls around here. I know I've done it, but I really try not to once I realize who the trolls are. It seems like some posters are like troll medics who realize no one is responding to the trolls so they run over and give them a revive with a mega dose of oxygen so that they can keep on trolling. Are they, people like One Brow, doing it on purpose?

I'll let OB speak for himself but he has said in the past he does it for those who might listen to the troll and harbor some of the same thoughts. Speaking truth to falsehoods so to speak, or something to that effect. I've decided that it's better to starve the troll of attention rather than feed them in any way. To each their own I guess. I have the trolls largely on ignore but at this point maybe 70% or more of the interactions in GD center around troll responses in one way or another so there isn't much choice if one wants to participate in the discussions at all. I am somewhat disappointed that we don't really have any right wing folks who can help provide a counterpoint, although there are a couple like @Bucknutz , but otherwise the trolls hold sway on the edge of the lunatic fringe.
