What's new

I'm Back: Toronto Raptors at Utah Jazz Wednesday, January 25th - 7 PM

Hayward needs to learn some craftiness around the rim. He has to learn there are more options than passing out or attempting a two handed dunk.

Totally disagree. His defense is outstanding, he facilitates the offense. His shooting is not there yet. He is a huge asset on the floor.

On our starters he is our 5th option, they do not look for much scoring.

Our second unit (Howard, CJ, Burks) are all me 1st players, if they are on great, if they are off, tonite happens. Plus Miles & Burks have no D.

He has 3 TO's and has missed all four shots. That is trash, not facilitating the offense.

HE is also defending James Johnson who averages a whopping 6 points per game on 40% shooting.

Gosh, there is a lot of complaining considering the score is tied. It seems like the practice time was a waste of time because the players look as though they are two steps slow.

If the Jazz literally don't score in the paint, they plain and simple don't score.

This team would be dominate if they had a few good 3 point shooters to compliment the amazing inside game.

Really? Because Favors would have 5 fouls right now....

You say starter minutes right? Whats your 9 man rotation now that it's hind sight?

All our starters should have at least 16 minutes Harris & Milsap should have 18.

No Evans or Burks

I still think Hayward does better as a SG where he often has a size and strength advantage. He struggles against the bigger, stronger SFs.

2 of his TO's were not his IMO. Score keeper gave it to the wrong person.

2 of his missed attempts were fouls. His blocked dunk blocked the ball and hammered the body. Great aggressive move.

His Help Defense is where he had several stops.

I like to watch whoever does not have the ball on D. He is one of our better defenders.

Hayward is a Tweener 2/3. I think he should play where the matchup is better. I agree 7/10 teams, probably a 2.

I would like to see him replace Bell as the 2 in the starting lineup with Howard at the 3.

i think the toronto coach's name ins Barnie Franke, or Frank Barnes, or something like that.

dis kinda sums it up in a cool pic

Ok so let's say this again... Who's your 9 tonight? With what you just said Favors now has 3 or 4 fouls or Kanter now played 15 minutes vs 11, and Bell takes Burks minutes few minutes.

Also take Watsons minutes down and Harris up.
Also take CJs 11 and give a few more to Gordon.

Your argument is flawed as you keep saying it but it's all hind sight and won't put out your 8 or 9 that you think deserve all the minutes.

Shooting a poor percentage from the field while showing pathetic 3 point shooting hasn't exactly helped Hayward's case to being a SHOOTING GUARD.

One cannot be a shooting guard without the *gasp* ability to shoot.

hayward this year, has sucked shooting. And he has the stats to prove it.

How man times has Millsap lead a break this year off of a steal? I can't remember him doing it at all last year.
