What would the fun be in joining in on the Kamala circle-jerk on here. There is not a ton of critical thinking going on. I do understand it’s more anti-Trump than anything but we got people making up stuff to hype up Kamala. She’s terrible in her own right. All I pretty much see is Trump is a bad person so I’m not voting for him.

You know what, I've read this post a couple of times and you come across as a ****ing moron. This is your entrance into GD? Are you blind to The Rapists myriad failings as a human and President? And you're going to talk **** about people here in GD? Since you're talking **** why don't you man up and specifically give an example of who you are accusing of "not a ton of critical thinking"?

Probably and it sounds like we agree on that. That isn't to say I know if it was unconscious or entirely calculated. Women are attracted to men based on what men can provide. Willie Brown could provide a boost to her career. Willie Brown did provide a boost to her career in exchange for sex.

Did he admit to that?

I can’t because I don’t care about politics like that. I could answer just about any sports trivia question you got though.

Fact is, regardless of who is president our lives won’t change much if at all.

Dude you've got me riled up. You really think the guy who staged a coup won't change our lives if elected? Especially after the Supreme Court ruling? He's about to tear this joint down.

How was your life changed when he was president?

Dude I don’t care about politics at all it’s funny to get people riled up about stuff. People who are deep into politics are the worst people I know. It becomes their entire personality. I have to tell my older family to not believe everything they hear and see and they should get some perspective from the other side instead of the confirmation bias they watch all day.

Well there's not much talk about politics going on here really. It's more venting that a dude as insane as The Rapist has dudes like yourself making excuses for him and risking our democracy.

Do you realize how insane you sound lol. Risking our democracy? Put the keyboard down and turn the news off for a few days buddy.

In no uncertain terms, more than once. She was 29. He was 60. She had sex with him and he gave her appointments. It was purely transactional. It was sex for career advancement. Willie seemed to be taken aback by how transactional it was.

"The difference is that Harris is the only one who, after I helped her, sent word that I would be indicted if I 'so much as jaywalked' while she was D.A.," Brown wrote. "That’s politics for ya."

That makes it sound like it was more personal than transactional.

I generally agree with this but over time the president and Congress can do things that have devastating effects. The massive deregulation of the mortgage industry in the 80's and 90's, one little step at a time, generated the 2008 housing collapse causing thousands to lose homes and jobs. I was one of them, got laid off then had to sell on a short sale. The systematic reduction in taxes in corporations and the wealthy from the 60's all the way up to today has lead to the huge federal budget deficit and reduction in social services including the threat to dismantle social security. The refusal to truly enforce anti-trust laws over the past 2 decades has lead to massive oligopolies and price gouging driving our current persistent high prices in many areas of the economy despite actual inflation beginning to decrease. So yes, generally who the next guy is most likely won't have a huge impact on our lives just in the short stint of their presidential term, but it could have far-reaching effects depending on how they govern and what legislation they push for and how they influence the federal agencies to actually do their jobs and keep things like monopolies in check. And in this over the last 50 years our leaders have generally been ****** as ****.

But Trump is something unique. He spurred the only outright rebellion against actual rule of law in our country's history at least since the civil war. He also stacked the deck and influenced the supreme Court to pass heinous changes to settled law and give the president carte blanche for commiting crimes in office. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. The threat he presents is clear and present and it's awful ****ing hard to deny that.
