If DeSantis doesn’t kiss the ring, he shouldn’t expect any federal aid. He’s been very very nasty to Biden and has said just awful things. Why doesn’t Florida rake the water away just rake it. Hopefully Florida can pull itself up by its bootstraps. They shouldn’t demand any federal tax dollars, that’s socialism and who wants California tax dollars to rebuild a dump, like Florida? Those suckers and losers knew they were building in a hurricane area. Ever heard the one about the scorpion and the river?

We are, and it’s not just Florida, we are up in S Georgia helping out as well. Distributing food and water, clearing debris and trees, checking on people. When they open up more roads we will be able to get to more people. I extended the offer to help last time to you but you didn’t act on, but here is another chance to help.

Spoken like an uneducated fool. What’s a Hurricane area? The whole state? When’s the last time a hurricane directly hit Tampa? What about a direct hit to Jacksonville? Or a direct hit to Miami? There isn’t an “area”.

Suckers and Losers? Nice job calling a bunch of Democrats suckers and losers. You do know that the counties of Leon and Gadsden, where Helena hit are some of the only Democrat counties left in Florida. You probably didn’t know that. You just don’t know much about Florida at all, Like last time when you thought DeSantis was trying to hurt Democrats because he wouldn’t extend the early voting in Orange County because they were a democrat county. Except in reality he extended it for the counties that were actually affected by a hurricane and Orange wasn’t.

You obviously haven’t been to Florida at all. What part of it is a dump? Be careful to respond, I would recommend you will need Google to help you out.

This is the reason for the electoral college right here. You have a tribal person, living on the east side of SLC, looking down on other states, thinking they know everything about them. Yet in reality they know nothing. They don’t know the multiple cultures, cities, agriculture, education, politics, ecosystems, economics or really anything about it. Yet you want to federally lord over them and force them to comply to your desires even though it’s not what’s best for that state.

Thats why I love our government, they looked at everything when setting it up. So we can keep our different states different. I love how all our states are unique and interesting, with different backgrounds and history. If you think Florida is a dump, good, don’t come and don’t enjoy this beautiful state and what it has to offer.

Thriller 100% thinks that the federal government should aid Florida regardless of how their constituents vote.

Why would Trump say that DeSantis needs to kiss Bidens ring? Or anything about California tax dollars? Trump spends most of his time in Florida, so again calling it a dump isn’t very accurate.

If he was imitating, it wasn’t good. It sounded more like Thriller than Trump. If you don’t think Thriller would hold back disaster money from Republican states, go look at his history. Withholding health care from unvaccinated…, he hates MAGA and republicans and lumps them all together. To me this sounds like another Thriller post.

Do I really need to explain this to you? He was doing an imitation of trump. Like if california had a hurricane hit or wildfires ravage the state then he wouldn't be surprised to see trump attempt to withhold any federal aid to the state because he doesn't like Newscum or the voters of california.
In this case he was saying what if Biden were as petty and hateful as trump and tried to withhold aid because desantis was critical of bidens administration? Of course biden would not do this, I wouldn't put it past trump though.

I see your point that it sounds like thriller. But it also does sound like trump. I mean trump said he wanted to EXECUTE people who criticized him for God's sake.

The Trump administration has rejected the California government’s request for federal disaster relief funds to help the state recover from its devastating wildfires this year, state officials said late Thursday, after President Donald Trump has repeatedly criticized the Democratic-led state for its handling of the fires.
The Trump administration denied California’s request this week after Gov. Gavin Newsom wrote to the federal government on Sept. 28 asking for federal funds, which would be used to help with rebuilding destroyed infrastructure and covering damages from the deadly wildfires.
The state was specifically asking for federal aid to help with six major wildfires that have burned in California this year, with Newsom noting in his letter that five of the six biggest wildfires in California’s history have taken place in 2020.
Brian Ferguson, deputy director of crisis communication and media relations for the state’s Office of Emergency Services, told the Los Angeles Times that the state was asking for the “highest level of federal support,” but did not ask for a specific amount, as the fires are still ongoing and the full extent of the damage is still not yet known.


Trump is super petty. Remember how he labels any republican who is critical of him as a RINO? Remember when he attempted to withhold aid to ukraine unless they investigated his political rival? Remember when he threw paper towel at victims of a major flooding catastrophe? If a country isn't "paying their bills" trump thinks that country should be invaded and conquered. Trump is a callous, vindictive, petty, small, insecure, unempathetic douchebag.

I love how everyone gets it but him. I have him on ignore so I wasn’t reading his hilarious posts until I saw everyone responding and correcting him. One would think he’d take a moment to reflect. Yet, he won’t be able to laugh at himself and admit his ignorance or stop pretending to be this obtuse (I think it’s entirely possible this is part of an act on his part). He’ll dig in his heels and insist that he was right, I was wrong, and then whine how mean I am. Probably throw a few petty insults. Trump has taught his cult to never back down or admit a mistake. And that’s exactly what he’ll do.

I literally took Trump’s own words and merely added Biden’s name to them. I agree Buck! It would be quite authoritarian for a president to withhold emergency relief funds to states for petty political/personal grievances! This is why I’m voting for Harris, not Trump. I know she won’t do that while he already has! Glad VP Harris can count on your vote and support this November!

By the way, I live in Lehi. That isn’t the east side of SL, it’s in Utah county and sits in Utah valley. And depending on where in the SL valley on the east you are, that could definitely be Trump country. Sandy/Draper (where my wife and I lived near Dimble Dell and Pepperwood) is trump country. We lived there from 2016-2019. We’ve lived in Lehi since Dec of 2019. It’s nearly Oct of 2024. Prior to Trump, I’d voted for Republican presidents just as many times as Democratic ones. Perhaps you should learn more about Trump’s critics? Try listening to those outside of your bubble for a change. We may teach you a thing or two that your media consumption might not tell you. Good! That should make it a lot easier for him to laugh at not Recognizing my Trump imitation. It was pretty obvious to seemingly everyone else. I mean, who could ever support a candidate who’d withhold emergency aid to a governor over some petty personal grievance, right? That’d be messed up! Glad VP Harris can count on his vote and support this November. It would be crazy to not do everything in our power to keep such an authoritarian from obtaining power again.
