Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

******* lunacy.

No one in their right mind can speak on behalf of them anymore.

If I did believe, I'd pray every night that these sociopaths will be thrown in jail forever.

I clicked the link and it said I am blocked. What did it say?

Did you give us your list yet? Why can't you just tell us the 10 best things this administration has done? Can't you acknowledge the awesome good they are doing?

Weird, I posted that on Thursday, on post 2044. You just ignored it. So who were they talking about in this clip?

You think what is happening is a “rewrite the foundation of our country”. That is a hyperbole statement. Please show me this, with information and proof. Not just because you don’t like what he is doing.

See you only see it one sided again. Show me where I criticize Biden. Show me where I criticize Trump. I almost never do it to either. You just want me to say the same things you believe and I dont believe that. You want everyone here to criticize Trump every single day and every single way.

Look at what is being posted all the time. It’s Trumps Crash… Yes, it is Donald Trump who flew the plane into the ground and flipped it upside down. Why would I comment on something so stupid. Show me where I comment on Biden sniffing all the kids? I don't say anything because it’s a stupid post. Why don’t you call out your leftist posters about posting stupid **** all the time.

I don’t think you know what a troll is. You call everyone a troll who doesn't agree with you. I don’t post meme’s making fun of all the left politicians. I don’t post stupid **** just to piss off the other side.

I post stats, data and information show why things are not what people are saying.

Let’s take for example you sitting back and letting Thriller keep posting a know hoax of flashlights up asses. You don’t call him out. You don’t call him a troll. His posts are troll posts, you keep your mouth shut.

Yes I can refute the aspects of fascism in Trump’s behavior.

5 positive things from Trumps first month

1. Border crossings shut down
2. AI Infrastructure getting $500 billion in private investment
3. Negotiated release of 11 American Hostages
4. Protected Women in sports
5. Doge

Hell lets expand it to 10

6. Expanded access to vitro fertilization
7. Sovereign Wealth Fund
8. Restored a 25% tariff to steel and aluminum imports - Great for American manufacturers
9. Remain in Mexico policy
10. Reinstated with back pay for service members who were discharged for COVID vaccine mandates

That wasn’t very hard…

You want me to refute a “Claim”… be serious.

He said - He said… refute this because this one guy said Trump is like Hitler. Refute it.

This is a garbage request.

You give this ultimatum to me, yet you keep your mouth shut when your tribe does it daily. DAILY.

You mean Thriller, the one who never responds… Yes I’m the troll. I have been engage in actual open and honest dialogue for years. You just don’t approve of my opinions or thoughts.
Here you go Log, so you don’t need to search for it.

That clip was 12 minutes of scaremongering with 30 seconds of truth hidden 10 minutes into the clip. Everything the CFPB does falls under the scope of the FTC. If you shut down the CFPB, zero benefit for American consumers is lost, and all of the oversight still happens because the FTC already does it. As the one sane person in that entire story pointed out, the role CFPB claims to be doing is right in the logo of the FTC.

View attachment 18077
The CFPB is a redundant Federal Agency to extract kickbacks to Democrat politicians. It is pure corruption.

I don't know what else I expected from the same group who last week pushed the nonsense that Nazi book burnings were free speech advocacy that led to genocide. Are Democrats really so moronic that they fall for this stuff?
I mean it’s 60 minutes. You gotta wonder how the interview was edited from a propaganda outlet like that.

The Senate held an all night "Vote-a-Rama" recently on a budget bill. Sen. Elizabeth Warren offered an amendment that said, "No tax cuts for anyone making over $10M." Democrats all voted for that. All Republicans voted against it. Then, Sen. Mark Kelly said, "Ok. No tax cuts for anyone making over $100M." Democrats all voted for that. All Republicans voted against it. The Sen. Angus King said, "How about $500M? Anyone making over $500M does not get a tax cut." All Democrats voted for it. All Republicans voted against it. Then Sen. Chuck Schumer said, "One Billion. Anyone making over a billion dollars does not get a tax cut." All Democrats voted for it. All Republicans voted against it.

Who would have thought that if we put billionaires in charge of government, that they wouldn't look out for hard-working Americans who are barely getting by and having trouble keeping up with inflation?

Now the House Republicans want to cut $880 Billion off of Medicaid to fund their tax cuts for billionaires. I get it. Diesel has gone up and those yachts are thirsty. They should put their tax cuts on the backs of hard-working Americans. Thanks Republicans.

The orders and actions of Donald Trump and his copresident Elon Musk are all part of a piece. The most obvious goal is to establish authoritarian, single-party control in the United States of America, and we know that because they wrote down their plan in Project 2025 and have been executing that plan every day since they took office. But we should understand why they want such power.

It’s not just so they can win the culture wars; Trump and Musk are misogynists and provable racists, but their hatred of women and Black people (and gay people and trans people and Latino people and Muslim people and truth and science and journalism and fact-based reality) are all just their means to an end. The thing Trump and Musk value most of all is money. Their entire regime is best understood as a criminal junta whose end goal is to redirect the wealth of the nation into their own pockets. They are running a kleptocracy, and they’ve figured out that facism is actually the quickest path to riches. They’re the encapsulation of Alan Rickman’s portrayal of Hans Gruber, the villain in Die Hard, taken to its logical conclusion. They talk like megalomaniacal populists, but they’re really just common thieves—or, well, exceptional thieves, given their success rate.

So here is one place he is rewriting our foundations. It failed but the attempt sure does support intent.

You do know that the AI infrastructure thing was in the works since last year at this time, right? It is not a Trump thing. It just happened now, and the billionaires spent time kissing his *** for it to get in his good graces, as usual.

In March 2024, The Information, a technology news website, reported OpenAI and Microsoft were working on plans for a $100 billion data center project that would include an artificial intelligence supercomputer also called "Stargate" set to launch in 2028.

POWER-HUNGRY DATA CENTERS

The announcement on Trump's second day in office follows the rolling back of former President Joe Biden's executive order on AI, that was intended to reduce the risks that AI poses to consumers, workers and national security.
So as long as he doesn't do anything to keep companies from hurting consumers, so they have free reign to do what they want, they love him for it. No **** Sherlock. Of course they do. The last thing company's want is to be held to account. Hence why DOGE is frantically trying to destroy any and all regulatory bodies in the federal government, which brings up the next topic.

DOGE has been a spectacular failure. Best estimates is that thousands of lives have been disrupted to save a grand total of 3-5 DAYS of deficit spending, and eliminating needed resources and government agencies, hence the immediate backpedaling in many areas, such as the forest service. Just from the top google option, a local paper, but this is happening all over the country.

Note these "dividend checks" will do to the top taxpayers first. Middle and low income people won't get anything.

Wages and benefits for the federal workforce equals about $270 billion. That seems like a lot of money, but when one considers that the total federal budget last year was close to $7 trillion, it’s around 4% of what the government spends annually. Quite simply, the benefits in terms of saving taxpayer dollars associated with laying off 300,000 employees are more than outweighed by the huge costs — both now and in the future.

And everyone with a functioning brain knows this is the real goal of all this. Make it chaotic to hope it hides these kinds of moves in the chaos.

Musk has laid off many people in agencies investigating his companies for illegal practices, effectively ending the investigations. Do you approve of this?

How does any of this make us more efficient when we eliminate hundreds of years of combined experience in these agencies. Not to mention things like the impact on medical research, laying off employees at the IRS during tax season sure does seem covnenient for the rich who may want to avoid audits, where the country historically has recovered significant revenues, now they won't have the staff to conduct those audits.

You seriously see this as a positive? Then it is clear you are a lacky and nothing more. That is about enough to discount anything else you may say. How do you spin this for a positive? You are buying the conspiracy theory that everyone laid off were corrupt and stealing money or whatever BS they are peddling now?

Sovereign wealth fund, or how to enrich the billionaires, step 1.

How will they fund it? Most of these around the world are funded by budget surpluses. *D'OH*
Next, where will they invest it? Surprise surprise but the guy Trump appointed to commerce secretary wants to invest in bitcoin, and, hey, he just happens to hold a lot of bit coin! They can really push that value up if they do that, he will get rich(er)! And why don't they invest in Tesla as well! Just drive those assets up dramatically! You know, for the good of the country. *HA HA HA HA HA HA*, I almost said that with a straight face. Seriously where will they invest it? Most countries have independent oversight of their SWFs so they do not do exactly that, do you really think Trump will allow that? He will want the entire thing invested in his new stock thing. Pay the billionaires first.
Third, how will they use it? Will they have walls between the fund, the fund managers, an oversight committee, and the coffers of the republican party? Highly doubtful.

So yeah, I will give you a "remains to be seen" on that one.

So, tariffs on steel and aluminum. I mean tell us you have zero understanding of basic economics without telling us you have zero understanding of basic economics.

Ken Henricks, owner and president of Alter Brewing Co. in suburban Chicago, said the increasing cost of cans could hurt the craft beer sector at a time of rising inflation and growing competition from large beer companies.

"We just don't have any more room to give without raising pricing. And if we raise price, I know that with people's buying power being less today, our volumes will decrease," he said. "We're really at a tough spot."

One of the biggest failings of the Biden administration was keeping the tariffs Trump imposed in his first term. This really hurt the economy and will continue to do so as these are increased, just generally speaking.

  • We estimate the 2018-2019 trade war tariffs imposed by Trump and retained by Biden reduce long-run GDP by 0.2 percent, the capital stock by 0.1 percent, and employment by 142,000 full-time equivalent jobs.
  • Academic and governmental studies find the Trump-Biden tariffs have raised prices and reduced output and employment, producing a net negative impact on the US economy.

And do not forget, these tariffs are a direct tax on the American people, and on no one else. They will raise revenue for the government, absolutely, by taking it from the american people. No foreign country pays a single penny in tariffs. It is all paid domestically. And yes, it will raise prices, and potentially lower volumes, as demand shifts to the new price points, meaning for a lot of companies operating on already thin margins, they effectively break even or even lose money on the deal. But a few will make bank on it, since they can opportunistically raise prices beyond the tariff increases and keep the prices there. This, by the way, hurts americans, and especially lower income americans the most. It will also likely result in the loss of jobs as demand thins to match the new price points.

Many economists have evaluated the consequences of the trade war tariffs on the American economy, with results suggesting the tariffs have raised prices and lowered economic output and employment since the start of the trade war in 2018.

As far as immigration goes, it is has been nothing short of a fiasco, from threatening, and even rounding up, expulsions of legal native americans, to the idea of creating a task force populated by regular citizens with guns, to the ignoring of the impact of a shrinking population, to simply the human rights issues, this has been nothing short of disastrous.

Take just the shrinking population issue. We are not creating enough new americans to replace the ones who are dying, so our overall labor pool is shrinking. This means less people to collect taxes from. And jobs needing workers with less workers to go around potentially down the road. Also, keep in mind that social security is basically a legal ponzi scheme with no good replacement even in the dreams of anyone in power, and this is a problem that cannot be fixed by kicking people out who are needed to pay into the fund. Of course if they follow through on the threat to gut it, well problem solved, right? Expect for the millions of people it will hurt, but hey, it won't hurt even the top 20% at all, so who gives a **** about the bottom 80, amirite?

So this issue is not as cut and dried as it seems. Which is why no one has solved it yet, and this is really no solution at all. It is going into surgery with Musk's chainsaw. Bound to rip **** up, and do nothing good for the patient or anyone around them.

The reason to refute the claim is that you said "no they are not nazis" and we said "they sure as **** act like nazis" to which you basically said "nuh-uh" so I posted a clear demonstration, point by point, show how the Trump administration are heading down the path to fascism and said "then show that even one of these assertions is wrong". They all had supporting quotes and sources, so you had plenty of material to work with. But you just scoff at it. So apparently you are ok with Trump being fascist. That is about the only conclusion we can draw from that.

So now show me what "my tribe" is, because I belong to exactly one tribe, the one that says "NO" to fascism and "NO" to rewriting the constitution by fiat and that says "NO" to firing hundreds of thousands of people in the interest of the billionaires running the country. That is the only political tribe I am part of right now. And I think you will find people across america from every political letter-designator in this tribe. A family member of my wife just joined this tribe, and until Trump started ****ing with veteran affairs he was a die-hard Trumper. Now he is in my tribe. He still hate immigration, and thinks we should cut all kind of **** from the government and believes most of the conspiracies, but some of the current actions cut too close to home, so he joined us. So what "tribe" do you think it is I belong to? Before Trump I was "R" way more often than not. I am now a "never-Trump"er. What tribe is that then?

Dude you have been exposed. You are just a Trump acolyte, that is clear now. Thanks for the response. I think you can see it is hard to take you at face value when these are the positives you find in this administration. You are just thinly-veiled MAGA. Not a troll, I will give you that. But not that far removed either.

And one thing to add, I think its funny when trumpers be like "is tariffs are so bad then why did Biden keep some of them around".
*************, haven't you spent the last 4 years bitching about the Biden economy?
Now you want to point to what Biden did with the economy as evidence that tariffs are a good thing?

Make it make sense
