The surprise in this is not that media outlets would churn out headlines so misleading they are basically lies feeding the large collection of morons who will click on the links desperate to affirm their beliefs. No, the shocking thing is that one major media outlet was willing to tell the truth.

The reality is the FDA has been turning over the responsibilities to state and local inspectors who do their job to standards set by the FDA going all the way back to 2010. The supposed "suspension of FDA inspections" started under Obama, and more happened under Trump 1.0, and more happened under Biden, and now some more are taking place under Trump 2.0. All the food is being inspected, but the FDA is focusing on setting standards and aggressively addressing non-compliance events.

Saw something saying that the FBI arrested a judge in Wisconsin in relation to an immigration dispute.
Haven't done any deeper research into it but it seems like it might be a concern.

Do you think these activist judges aren’t also discriminating against Americans? Democrats have built a system that is completely upside-down. It’s a system that takes Americans tax dollars and actively tries to destroy Americans with it. These judges are throwing Americans in jail for insignificant offenses and at the same time harboring terrorist and illegal aliens. One more American in jail means one less vote for upside-down politics for these criminal judges.

I will admit, they are picking their targets for this with a lot more thought than they were with the actual deportations. They are lulling us into a false sense of security that there is some kind of process for this, where this is really just the opening salvoes against judges that dare to defy Trump. She did this the wrong way, that is the problem here, and it leaves an opening to claim judicial misconduct. It very likely will not hold up in court, but it is the opening they need to start this ball rolling, and once it gets some real momentum we will hardly notice the justices that get taken away just because they rule, lawfully and legally, against the Trump agenda. This is carefully planned out and being executed nearly flawlessly for the Project 2025 team. We need a lot more people to get up in arms about this stuff, to head off the inevitable litany of "well they deserved it" posts on facebook.

Yep and as it says near the end of the article, In a situation like this with a tenured judge who isn't/wouldn't be a flight risk the standard procedure wouldn't be to arrest on site. That is just unnecessary cruelty and showmanship being deployed.

This is normal. This is the only way our democracy errrr republic survives. This is a sign of a healthy executive power just holding judges accountable. And by accountable I mean, making sure everyone in government is loyal to the king and obeys his every fart. That is exactly what the founding fathers envisioned.

Whoa whoa whoa if I learned anything from the trump investigation, trial, and conviction it's that if you can't show me a previous case of the exact same thing happening to another judge who was arrested and investigated for aiding an illegal immigrant in evading ICE then this is all a hoax and is 100% lawfare.
