2025 Playoffs Chat & Chill Thread

MIN defense is in shambles. They don't have anyone to match up with Butler (or he's getting the switch), and if they go zone it will inevitably crack and Kuminga is going to get a dunk off a cut.

Hell of a triple-double for Randle. 24-10-12. Definitely not on brand for him typically. The assists are something else for him. That's great to see.

What is this trash that I'm watching? My eyes are bleeding.
These are playoff teams? Contenders? Smh. Bunch of bums.

OKC is shooting 30% from the field and 10% from 3. (1-10)
Denver is shooting 10.5% from the field and 0% from three (0-11)

Many of these shots have been wide open.

Not to mention the bad stupid turnovers. Is there a reason for these teams to be tanking?

Fatigue probably a factor. This is a relatively short turnaround.

More wide open bricks, missed free throws, bad turnovers.
This is the ugliest game I have ever seen.
Old school bball fans loving it lol

I guess but I have been watching playoff basketball for 40 years. I'm sure other teams have played with fatigue. Never seen anything this bad though. And OKC is the deepest team in the league.

They did play an overtime game.

The other factor is it being an afternoon game. A lot of players tend to be thrown off when they don't play at their normal time. They all have their game day routines and when they can't do them as normal it can throw them off.

Cool cool. I wonder if Vegas betters knew this predictable outcome and caused the over under line to be 140-160 combined points for the game.

Ya that was some ugly basketball. It was funny listening to the announcers talking trash. They kept pointing out how open guys were on the misses and how bad the mistress misses were (airballs and various other bricks)

I remember they came back from a timeout and the first shot taken was a brick and the announcer said something like " and back from a timeout and what do you know, another missed shot."

Thank goodness for Denver getting to the line.

Both teams with 8 turnovers.
Denver shot 21.1% from the field and 13.6% from three for the half.
OKC scorched the nets with 34% from the field and an identical 13.6% from 3.

Luckily Denver got to the line 20 times.

Worst 3 point percentage for a half in 27 years

I don't enjoy SGA play style of seeking fouls so blatantly and constantly. Hated watching harden do it so much back in the day.

Denver shooting it well in the 3rd
