Is this the first time in NBA history the top 3 picks are all going to projected playoff teams? Probably a hard thing to look up historically as it's mostly subjective who you think is a playoff lock.

My pick is Maluach.

We need a skilled 5 in today’s NBA.

He finish dunks, blocks shots, hit 3s and make plays.

Basically a quadruple threat.

I think he has Embiid potential.

He could be the dark-horse diamond in the rough pick imo.
Shoots 76.6% free throws so the shooting mechanics is already there.

If Bailey is there at 5 I would like to draft him. If he's not, Tre all the way. Though I can see Ainge falling in love with Knuepel. Remember - Ainge has had very good luck in recent years with Duke players.

Well, we already have two young centers and it would be comical to tank the entire season just to add another one. And the rest of them are all below average defenders, which is good. I guess Ainge will probably pick the one with the least defense, so... Tre or Jakucionis?

Maluach is an interesting choice. I see the vision with him and he could develop into a monster player. I also get the feeling he has more to his game that he didn't get to show at Duke. The hands are really questionable sometimes but there is alot to like. If this is the direction, I think you strike while the Walker trade market is hot.

Walker as much as i love him is really limited offensively.

I say we trade him and draft a much more multidimensional Maluach.

What a major disappointment.

Anyway I think they somehow end up with Ace. Either he falls or they trade up a slot or two. Ainge basically started the Celtic rebuild drafting two SFs/big wings in Brown and Tatum.

Yeah but offensively do you not see the potential?
I genuinely dont. He is at the back end of my board today. Like, in the 20's.

I watched the tourney with a very open mind and wanted to love him. Its hard to disappear at his size but he very much did. He got out rebounded by Tyrese Proctor vs a short HOU team........by 1 rebound.

Proctor had 1 rebound.
