So the Mavs will never put any elite young talent around Flagg?

They only own their 1st rounder next year, then it's gone from 2027-2030. They will likely make the playoffs next year if AD is healthy, so they will have a short run with AD/Kyrie/Cooper before AD/Kyrie age out/get injured out, then they will have Flagg on his 2nd contract surrounded by scrubs.

Jazz will take whomever is left among Ace, Tre and VJ. They'll kick the tires on Kon, Fears and maybe some other guy, and they'll explore trade options. At the end of the day, it makes sense to take Ace or Tre, then go again next year with another top 5 - 7 pick.

We all questioned why Dallas traded Luka for a hurt AD. And didn't get any picks or anything else for him. Well we know now. The sad part is the NBA isn't even trying to hide it.

Yeah. These NBA goons also tore Kyrie's ACL, dislocated Gafford's knee and injured AD to make sure that Dallas narrowly misses the playoffs and has a lottery pick to rig.

The easiest prediction to make was that Philadelphia would keep their pick one way or another. As it stands, OKC is already positioned to come out of the West for the next 3 years. That's going to get old for the league unless they can really sell SGA.

That trade was terrible at the time and even worse now. Big freaking mistake. I have no idea why any team would make a trade like that - regardless of how good you think you may end up being.
