Jazz hire Carlos Boozer as a scout

Is this real? Is there an article somewhere? Is Cam a real human person?

When the Jazz finish 5th next year and fall 4 spots to 9th in the lottery (OKC gets the pick and the Jazz miss out on the Boozer pick) does Carlos still have a job in Utah?

I’ll just say it now… the league, in a desperate attempt to prove it’s not rigged, will never allow us to land AJ or Boozer.

Caden and Cam are both extremely skilled, not super athletic basketball players, it's just that Caden in guard sized and Cam is Forward sized.
So they take after their dad. That describes Carlos pretty well. I wouldn't say he was extremely skilled, but he definitely had the skill to make up for a general lack of athleticism, at least at the NBA level.

So are either of the Boozer boys a franchise-level player? Or are they just both good and will likely have good NBA careers? Sounds like next year is shaping up to be a good draft for solid role players but without a franchise-altering star prospect.

We aren’t messing around next year. We’re going the Rick Brunson route with Cam Boozer.
We were always gonna tank next year to protect our pick from going to OKC. That's not even a question. Also Cam Booz is now like a T2 prospect(widely projected outside of top 2 or even top 3) for next year's draft class. If we tank again we have a pretty good shot at getting him. AJ & Peterson though is whole another story.

Plus aren't we super stacked at the PF spot? About 4 guys who can and will play that position as things stand and possibly more after draft night.

Only thing I'm getting from this is that we are possibly saying goodbye to Lauri and Collins in the summer if the target is Cam next year.

My current opinion is that Cam Boozer is the most skilled big I have seen at his age, but I don't believe he'll ever be a good defender, which I think is even more important for bigs. This is based off of like 5 games I've seen with 2 of them being all star like games. It's definitely too early to say anything definitive, I'm excited to see how he does at Duke this year.

I think the top 3 guys, (A.J., Cam, Peterson) are all capable of being #1 option type players. A think A.J. has the best all around game of the 3 which is why I rate him the highest.
