2025 Off-Season Trade Ideas Thread

Absolutely terrible trade for us to give up our two best players and receive a bunch of bums back
I mean, yeah, but if they want to reset the timeline having the 4th/5th pick in a good draft along with the 7th pick from last year's draft and a pile of future assets isnt bad. Plus Mark Williams is good when he's healthy.

For those of you that want to deal with the Lakers, remember IT IS THE LAKERS!!! Don't plan on their picks being in the lottery. Adam Silver will call some team and have them move one of their top talents to the Lakers in exchange for a future #1 draft pick.
Yes...there is some sarcasm in this (but only some)

I’d like to know what Walker Kessler’s extension talks look like. That would ultimately decide if I think the team should trade him or keep him. I’m a big advocate of having both an 82 game (regular season) team and a 16 game (playoffs) team. Kessler feels more like a regular season guy, so I’m not sure how much I’d want to commit to that contract.

I’m waiting for the Durant domino to tip. That’s when the rest of the league gets interesting.

Can’t really make plans for John Collins until he opts in, but I don’t expect that until after the draft tbh.
He is like 95% chance to opt in. If we found a deal he liked he would opt in... I can't imagine there are a lot of situations worse for him than ours so very good chance he would play ball.

Ideally, the Jazz would communicate with him on the options and try to find something that they like, but still works for him. Ultimately, they need to do what’s in the best interests of the franchise and he should wait to opt in until they give him an opportunity he likes or they force the issue.

Unless it’s something he really wants, he won’t opt in until the last minute, which is after the draft. In all honestly, I’m kind of hoping he gets traded to the Warriors as part of a S&T with Kuminga and Moody - which would have to wait until after the draft when free agency starts up.

So we tanking again next season boys?

It's starting to look like the Jazz want to clear the deck, trade Sexton, Collins and possibly Lauri, and bring in high-level draft talent with preferably two high picks in this draft. That means, the Jazz are going to be very, very young next year. I could see them bringing in an older PG to help run the team, like they did with Kris Dunn a couple years back.

Wonder if it was Sarr, Coulibaly, or both? Trying to sell San Antonio on assembling the French national team.

It's what we all expected, but no surprise that Jalen Green has no market. I want no part of that rehabilitation project unless it is part of a package that nets us the #10 pick. But I doubt Houston would be that quick to get off him for negative value, much like Philadelphia with PG. Plus the KD trade buzz makes it sound like they're not jumping to do anything
