Biggest thing I heard here is that Tony doesn’t have a read on Tre. Seemed like he was saying “the Jazz has Tre high on their board” on lockedon, but here it seems like that was just TJ’s personal opinion.

Also like that of the Jazz draft/pass on Ace, it will because of basketball.

Great job with this one, guys.

As you were asking Tony at the end about anything you didn't cover, I had one thought come to mind: whether he thinks there's any difference in the drafting approach between Danny and Austin (esp. since there was a little discussion on how Danny has his types in the draft). Would be interesting to know whether anyone thinks they have a read on how Austin looks at draftees.

But thanks for the great pod.

I think Fears and Keyonte are similar in terms of skill level. Keyonte is a better shooter from deep. Fears is a more natural lead guard and playmaker.

Also Riley has been noted by many insiders as a rising prospect in the workout settings and is one of the more commonly mocked prospects to Utah at 21, so I think it would have been interesting to hear if Tony could verify that, but it's whatever.

I know y'all arent Billiam Riley fans, so I get it

Yeah, Keyonte really needs an open lane to get to the rim. He's also pretty dependent on screens as a playmaker. Fears can waive off a screen and just beat guys.
Keyonte just wants to stop before getting all the way or kind of halfway avoid contract. I see Fears as a guy who is going to get there, but I could be wrong if the NBA size overwhelms him like it has Keyonte.

Keyonte is also in love with his shot in a way that Fears isn't, so I think Fears will have more natural incentive to learn paint finishing
