Idk, Blazers giving them a run for their money…Toronto is seriously like the biggest WTF are you doing team.

They make sense in their context... other than the Yang pick. I think Ayton/Williams get moved. If they think Yang is Chinese Jokic then they did well.Idk, Blazers giving them a run for their money…
If the Jazz can’t figure out a way to get Naz Reid pried away (by helping someone else clear requisite space), then this is a great use of space IMO. At best, losing Conley will not make them better, and I’m pretty sure he’s still doing some serious lifting for their culture.Someone of the twitter threw out Conley into our MLE and we take 31. The tank would suffer and I am just weary of helping Minny but maybe this doesn't help much?
When can teams start trading 2032 picks? As soon as this year’s draft is over?We are actually not wildly flush with draft assets at this point. Need to stock up as much as possible as far out as possible.
Probably July 1st, but I’m not sure. When can teams start trading 2032 picks? As soon as this year’s draft is over?
Not to be cynical, but I wonder how much of the Yang pick is less about basketball fit and more about money. Like, I’m certain that they’re going to sell a crap-ton of merchandise for a backup center. Maybe he hits and reaches his potential (and I’m a fan) but even if he doesn’t, you have to think the Blazers come out ahead in ROI.They make sense in their context... other than the Yang pick. They don't really have an owner and so the GM/coach have no incentive really to build long-term or tank... so they are pushing forward because that is likely how they are judged by the rest of the league for their new future jobs. When the new owners come in they will be let go... almost surely.
Portland for sure has a large Chinese community who will take good care of YangNot to be cynical, but I wonder how much of the Yang pick is less about basketball fit and more about money. You dont draft at 16 for that. They liked him. If you want to get a random Chinese/Asian player to boost that stuff, you can get them on 2-ways like what Memphis did with the small Japanese PGNot to be cynical, but I wonder how much of the Yang pick is less about basketball fit and more about money. Kind of depressed looking at this team thinking about what a perfect fit Hansen Yang would have been at the 5 on a team with WCJ/Ace as guards. We'd have given Yang all the pieces around him to be a dominant hub.PG: Clayton JR, Collier, Harkless
SG: Bailey, Keyonte, Clarkson Juzang
SF: Hendricks, Sensabaugh, Williams
PF: Lauri, Filipowski
C: Walker, Oscar
Pending off the roster: Sexton/Collins
Fingers crossed they can get Penda, Fleming, or Raynaud.

Sorry, I should’ve been more clear. I think he’s a player and was hoping the Jazz would consider taking him at #21. The value of the pick is fine. Possibly even the fit. But it does make me wonder how often money decisions go into player evaluations. It was definitely something on my radar. I’m assuming it was for the Blazers as well. You dont draft at 16 for that. I mean, you got to go with your best players. At least that starting lineup has a lot of shooting and defensive length. Not like our playmaking options (Collier/Keyonte) are high level.Zero passing/playmaking lineup. You've gotta love it baby,

I like that this lineup puts the keys in WCJ/Ace's hands to be playmakers and primary drivers for a team. Obviously this isnt a complete team and we are hopefully getting that complete two way player next draft, but I really like that starting lineup.
It's just hard to start Flip. I think he's better coming off the bench as a 3rd big.I would start at least one of Flip or Collier.

Collier could start, but my money currently would be on the older WCJ (who I'm currently drinking koolaid on)
