Is former Jazz man Malik Beasley a cheat?

It’s probably that I’m relatively too poor to understand, but the dude has made 60 million in his career. Why do this kind of thing?

Well from the play hotnickkk linked it was from the bubble when gambling and stuff was relatively new to the wide public (legally). Players might not have fully known how much the NBA knew about people's gambling history connected to them and done some reckless stuff.

With his head nods there….seems like full twolves roster investigation should take place. Year long suspensions for all guilty!!! We have the draft flip next year right? ;)

If you cant gamble, drink, whore and squander 60 million dollars in under a decade you're not trying hard enough!!!

Honestly it makes you wonder where does he find the time to be a professional basketball player?

He’s made lots of money but I’m guessing he’s spent a lot of money and made bad decisions. Who knows what his baby momma situation is or if he even has one, but needless to say there’s usually a story behind why a pro athlete making gobs of money and chooses to gamble on his sport and games.

He promised his dentist part of his next contract and didnt pay him lmao

Antoine Walker blew 100+ million and he was out of the league by 2008 - so that 100+ million has a purchasing power of around $150,000,000 now.

For every Junior Bridgeman and Vinnie Johnson (guys who weren't NBA stars but were/are savvy businessmen) there are many more Walkers and Beasleys.

Malik can still ball - if he's blackballed from the NBA and is smart he will go overseas, play 5-6 years and take that money and make it last (if he has liens against him he can stay in Europe or wherever).

If he's banned for gambling it will be global

He was basically telling people he would pay them with his NBA money, but he didnt have money.

The stories about millions going to pay for illegitimate children have been around forever but for the love of god, all these players have managers eating 5, 10 or 15 percent of these contracts, surely if they have a player that financially illiterate they appoint somebody to manage their finances?
