I just don’t see the need to trade Lauri. If Ace, WCJ, Kessler and others turn into the guys you hope they can be, you’re still going to need a floor space with a little size.

I'm more open to trading Lauri after drafting Ace than I was before. Specially I wanted Lauri around if we drafted a point guard since I thought it would be good for their development if they could play with an elite play finisher like Lauri.

I agree with this but the contract may be an issue when you are extending them others.

But I do believe that quartet + getting lucky in the next lottery + other young pieces we got has the makings of a really good team if they can manage the cap.

I would consider it. I don’t think overpaying Kessler is the answer, and I like Indiana’s draft picks a lot more than the Lakers. They might struggle without Haliburton while also switching Turner with Kessler.

Could we get unprotected 2026 1st and another down the road?
