End-of-season starting lineup

Let's try and predict who will be starting for the Jazz at the end of the 2025/26 season ( in the late February/beginning of March) by factoring in the expected players development, injuries, trades etc.

In 7 months we can review the predictions and crown our well-deserving prophet(s)!

My starters: Kessler - Markkanen - Bailey - Williams - Clayton.

The reasoning: the Jazz will not be able to trade Lauri or Kessler and they will force-feed minutes to Ace, Cody and Clayton to see what they have and to secure much needed losses. The Jazz would love starting Hendricks but they simply cannot afford moving either Markkanen or Bailey to the bench and Ace at 2 is not his natural position.

Ace at the 2 sounds interesting. Would give him some on ball reps. His handle looks ok enough and the size would be insane as a 2. Think he is fluid enough to do it, I just don't know how much on ball experience he has. I don't know if this works basketball wise but:

Clayton - Ace - Hendricks- Flip - Kessler
or
Clayton - Ace - Lauri - Hendricks - Kessler

Think the defense can actually be decent if we put Ace - Hendricks - Kessler on the floor together. Ace at the 2 would let us play Lauri or Flip with those 3. I think it's worth exploring.

I think it will be that lineup with Lauri starting an early summer vacation on the shores of Hellsinki.

Kessler
Lauri
Ace
WCJ
Collier

My first impression is only the guard rotation that is in question. Kessler/Lauri/Ace by the end of the season seems pretty close to 100% likelihood barring injury/trades, though Ace can play up/down the lineup (which makes it more likely he finds a starting spot.)

Though, typing that out, if Flip continues his current arc, it will be hard to keep him out of the starting lineup, so maybe:

Kessler
Flip
Lauri
Ace
WCJ

Hendricks/Keyonte/Cody could also be pushing hard to start- I could see Henricks at PF instead of Flip if his D makes him unviable as a starter.

The big question I have is what happens to our three players acquired in the Collins and Sexton trades? What if the FO tells Hardy to play the "best" players and the Stars will be used exclusively for development.
