I thought he was going to pass to Lauri
he just seems engaged and gives a **** about mentoring and cheerleading this teamWhat did he do?

I think Key could have passed it to Lauri, but I can understand why he hesitated - it wouldn't have been an easy pass.Damn, pretty disjointed final possession. I think some people might blame Keyonte for going iso there, but on the replay I really think Flip should have unbounded it to Lauri.
Yeah, and I tend to give a little bit of grace to players who end up with the ball in their hands with like 5 secs left. You don’t want to risk not getting a shot off at all.I think Key could have passed it to Lauri, but I can understand why he hesitated - it wouldn't have been an easy pass.
The only thing that the Jazz is missing to consistently be on the SAC level is experience. These two teams are pretty well matched.
Yeah, I've seen that criticism, but I thought he didn't get a really good inbound - more of a bail out the 5 seconds violation than anything else - and had to lose some time in an already short clock time controlling the ball in a crowded space.I think Key could have passed it to Lauri, but I can understand why he hesitated - it wouldn't have been an easy pass.
No but we should tank bottom line we get no where by winning. So just to clarify, if our young talent exceeds expectations and wins a lot of games, we should all be furious?

The Jazz had a time out left. When you don't get a good inbound you call a time out. Key forced the ball a few times tonight, but thr last play was on Hardy.Yeah, I've seen that criticism, but I thought he didn't get a really good inbound - more of a bail out the 5 seconds violation than anything else - and had to lose some time in an already short clock time controlling the ball in a crowded space.
Key could've (or should've) done better, and that stings for a last play, but there were other instances in the game that I was way more underwhelmed by his play than this last possession (and I don't say that as a knock, as his game impressed a lot so far this season). And the whole ATO play call fail feels much worse than that too.
I would temper slightly this with the caveat that if by some miracle the team is looking like an honest-to-goodness contender without Lauri and Walker, then you can (and should… probably) probably just roll with it and be happy. No but we should tank bottom line we get no where by winning.
I am not worried. I don’t think some humble pie would be bad for him either. Kid is talented as ****, huge, and is not in danger of lacking confidence.Ace had 0 points and 13 minutes. They said he had more energy and felt much better this morning. I believe we've been fake news'd.
I think the players didn't execute the play, Flip was too hesitant on the inbound pass. The Jazz had a time out left. When you don't get a good inbound you call a time out. Key forced the ball a few times tonight, but thr last play was on Hardy.
