must lose. Can win against teams that may be in the tank race against us.
If we are going to win then let be against the cavs, thunder, spurs, nuggets etc. (preferably we lose those games as well though)

PHX doesn't even one their own pick. Unless they just suffer a ton of devastating injuries they won't out tank the true tankers who have incentive to lose

This year there are enough teams that don't control their picks that suck... this is the year and there are some pretty catastrophic draft results that could happen. The Nets back in the day are the prime example.

One of NOP, PHX, Atlanta, or maybe the Clips are gonna give up a top 7ish pick. NOP are already disinterested, but maybe the pending coach change gives them some motivation.
 
I posted this last season when this question came up. Here are the recent examples of players picked in the top ten via a traded pick

2014: 9 Vonleh via Detroit, 10 Payton via New Orleans
2015: 0
2016: 3 Brown via Brooklyn, 7 Murray via New York, 9 Poltl via Denver
2017: 1 Fultz via Brooklyn 3 Tatum via Sacramento, 5 Fox via Philly, 10 Collins via New Orleans
2018: 8 Sexton via Brooklyn, 10 Bridges via LA
2019: 0
2020: 0
2021: 7 Kuminga via Minnesota, 8 Wagner via Chicago
2022: 8 Dyson Daniels via LA
2023: 0
2024: 8 Rob Dillingham via Toronto
 
I will be looking for two things this game:

1. Is Ace's mid-range shot for real or did he just get lucky in the last game and his first games better represent the level he is at at the moment?

2. Will Hardy give Cody and/or Harkless some meaningful minutes? Or does he still think that they are to be used only in very specific situations? I would not mind them getting some of the Brice's and Svi's minutes... at least for a couple of games.
 
Also, what is going on with Clayton? He was pretty listless in the last game. And even in the PHX game he was rather meh. I want to see him as aggressive as he was in his first two outings.
