What's new

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

It's hard to overstate just how bad the Wizards are. Some of their guys have good numbers, but it's because someone has to get numbers. They're playing vets too!

I do not think there's a worse fit than in Utah with our defense personnel and culture. Maybe Sacramento? But we're a team that should not be looking at LaMelo at all.

Not even Jazz related, I have categorized LaMelo in to a bucket of guys that don't play winning basketball. I think he's extremely talented, but his defense and style of play is hard to win with. I'm not 100% sure that's fair. Maybe in a new situation he could thrive.

Not just his whole aura/attitude/play-style, he's constantly injured.

I don't think he's going to thrive anywhere unless it's a team with superstar vets that he respects enough to change

Thoughts on LaMelo Ball?

Defense is terrible, but his offense might actually be underrated. Behind all the weird stuff he's actually a pretty good offensive engine. But he's also always injured. It's stunted his development and it's just hard to rely on a guy who only plays half the games.

He's a player I love to watch, but he needs to be on a different team. I'd put him ahead of guys like Sabonis, Zion, and Trae though.

LaMelo to the Kings seems inevitable right?
