What's new

At what point would the pick be safe?

Jazz have squeaked by with at least 5 or 6 wins that could’ve gone either way - even splitting those games would’ve put them in a better position to keep the pick.

I know dudes are wired to compete and win, but those games could easily bite this team on the *** at the end of the season.
I've been saying for years that management has to go out of their way to Hardy proof the roster because if you give him vets then he will play them.

"At least I don't try to be armchair GM"

Complains 24/7 while trying to be armchair GM.

You're not making sense.

As for complaining – we heard nothing but non-stop crying from the tankers as the Jazz were winning some games. I mean it was excruciating. Give Cody 40mpg, trade away Svi and Nurk, Sit Lauri, Hardy didn't get the memo. On and on and on.

Well, we're tanking now so guys should finally be happy. Are you?

For someone who supposedly doesn’t care about the bigger picture, you sure spend a lot of time inserting yourself into every conversation about it.

The "bigger picture" is a fantasy. But I care about if it prevents us from trying to win in the short term.

I'm a reality-based fan. There are only wins and losses. Wins are good, losses are bad. It's not complicated.

The bigger picture exists. Wins and loses exist beyond tomorrow or this season. The amount you care about a win tomorrow, this season, next season, or beyond is up to you. You may not care about the big picture, but to say it doesn’t exist is like saying the 2026 doesn’t exist. We know the next year exists and the year after that.

What is the best thing for the big picture is up to opinion. Tanking works is an arm chair gm opinion about the big picture. Tanking does not work is also an arm chair gm opinion about the big picture. If you truly did not care about the future that’s fine, but why would you have such strong opinions about the future then?

Constantly inserting your own personal opinion about what is good or not good for the future and then hiding behind this claim that you don’t care about it hilarious.

Your only reality is talking crap and being wrong 90% of the time.
