Honestly I think key and Lauri are good enough but we need exceptional role players and depth since I don't think either are, or ever will be, MVP caliber players.

Yeah, Keynote’s ceiling is more Lillard/Chris Paul-ish- exceptional player who isn’t good enough to drag you over the finish line. Just add someone like AJ to our mix, though, and we be cooking with gas!

There are a lot of great scoring SGs in the league right now. How much value does Key have with plenty of other options? Just thinking out loud given how people felt overall that Key > a top 5 lottery pick in this draft.

He's taking an absurd offensive leap, but it's still very difficult to judge his total impact because he's led the Jazz to 30th in defense three years in a row and is one of the worst defenders on statistically the worst defensive team of all time (this year's Jazz).

Can't really judge him very accurately until we're trying to win and have a better defensive setup so we can see if this guy is salvageable on defense. More durable Darius Garland may be a good comparison.

If his defense is just regular bad I think he’s approaching that Garland, Murray, Herro tier of player where he can sniff an all star game. Still has time to ascend further.

There are a lot of great scoring SGs in this league however Keyonte is a great scoring PG with amazing playmaking averaging more assists than guys like kyrie ever did and Key has less talent around him

I would take Key over Reeves. Key over Powell and Herro easily. Key/Murray is interesting. The others no. No team is trading a top-3 pick in this draft for Key. Knueppel is more valuable than Key as well.
