Dude. Utah is known for it's snow. This is the last amount of snow I have seen in my nearly 50 years here. It's crazy.
We are so ****ed this coming summer. Gonna be a huge water shortage crisis and the rivers and lakes are going to suck and the fires are going to burn like crazy. People will still do hella fireworks on 4 of July regardless though

Fortunately the heat wave breaks tonight, looks like we've got away without anymore bush fires.

A lot of time left this winter.
We only got about 3-4 total inches all winter before this past weekend. Then bam (for NJ bam), we got about 13-14 inches on Sunday. Some areas got a little less. Some more. The district in which I teach says 26 inches on the Apple weather app but the webz says they got just 9 inches. I’d guess they got about 15+. Then this coming weekend we might have another banger. And the week of 2/9 is showing three possible storms.
Hopefully you guys get a couple of these bangers.

For sure. But we have had so little so far that we are at the point where we will likely literally need record breaking amounts of snow in months that typically dont snow.
If I could bet money on whether we will get anywhere near average snowfall or not, Im definitely betting that we wont. I have never seen anything like this winter. I have yet to even break out a snow shovel, much less my snowblower. I got my new dog in late november. Been curious to see how she reacts to snow. Still curious.
