Advocating for anything you want? You mean like an obsessive and deranged hatred for Trump. Like so many folks here have been doing for over a decade? Stirring each other up and circle jerking over obsessively? Like that?
 
What’s stupid is not legally carrying a gun in Minneapolis, one could run into ICE or Border Patrol anywhere, and it’s not like you’re looking to have a gun battle with government agents. You’re simply exercising one’s 2nd amendment right. There was no demonstration taking place. A few people, including Pretti, were recording Border Patrol thugs. And that’s what they were, attacking women and Pretti for absolutely NO discernible reason.

No, what’s incredibly stupid is sending a 3000 man army of poorly trained, heavily armed goon squads with no understanding of the constitutional rights of fellow citizens, masked, pulling women on the street by their hair, dragging a disabled woman out of her car, etc., etc, and, heres the incredibly stupid part: without expecting pushback and anger from thousands of Minneapolis citizens!

Did Noem, Miller, Trump, Bovino, etc. not think of that at all!? Some may cheer, even cheer people being hurt, especially those “illegals”, but far more decent human beings will be appalled by the actions, they themselves witness, in person, online, or on the news, of heavily armed, masked goon squads acting like Nazi brown shirts, with a leader who cut his hair SS style, and dressed the part of an SS commander!!! We need this in the United States? This is what decent people will simply accept, goon squads treating people like animals?!

THAT is where the greatest stupidity lies. Not with a man carrying a concealed weapon in the town where he lives, and where he has a permit to carry.

If the goon squads are going to conduct state sanctioned public executions, you can expect 10’s of thousands of Minneapolis citizens to take to the streets, and if you did not know that going in, that’s where the stupidity lies. It lies with a fascist administration, not the decent citizens of Minneapolis who have what this administration considers the deepest of human flaws: compassion!! They care for their neighbors and how they are treated. The fascist State considers that an unacceptable flaw.

And also here: last night, although Homan said “cooperate and we drawdown”, Trump instead said we will not reduce our force there, “we will do whatever it takes to keep America safe”. Really?? Sending a 3000 man untrained, unhinged goon squads into Democratic cities is keeping America safe??

There’s the stupidity. And it’s a bald face lie: 3000 man goon squads killing citizens is not a decision made by smart people. But, to some of our fascist leaders in this country, it’s actually how they establish a safe country!

Remember what Elon Musk said? Empathy is the West’s greatest weakness! It causes you to care about human beings. It causes you to be alarmed when food aid is cut off, and thousands die around the world. This administration believes in that Muskian philosophy: rid yourself of human empathy and this mass deportation can be fun! Just let them do their job, and in any manner they please!

Just who are the patriots? The citizens who believe we are a good people, not a people who turn goon squads loose in our cities.
The patriots are people like Alex Pretti. And thousands of other Minnesotan’s. And if you do not recognize that, you’ve let the darkness into your heart.

Thank you for an actual intelligent response. It's appreciated. Im not saying MAGA is perfect but I don't see them out there calling to kill Democrats for voting differently. Now I'm sure are some radicals but it's everywhee from Democrats. I could post hundreds of them if I actually cared to.

Let me ask you this. Say the roles were reversed. A poster here was bragging about how Biden deported people without no problems. I think it was a ridiculously stupid statement as nobody rioted and assaulted ICE. Nobody blocked roadways for 3 minutes like that Renee Good moron that obstructed ICE from arresting a pedophile...

Anyways my question... When Biden was deporting illegals do you think people in this very forum would say the same thing if it was MAGA out rioting, kicking federal government vehicles, blowing whistles, attacking innocent people at restaurants, attacking and assaulting innocent hotel security, smashing hotels windows, attacking people at church, and running a major potential crime syndicate? Would the accept MAGA terrorising people like Democrats are doing in Minneapolis? Be honest. I bet they would absolutely hate MAGA for doing what they are doing. They would call us Nazis, insurrectionists, fascist, and want us in jail. Right?

I reject everything you say here. Pretti and the signal chat are the true American patriots. Not the heavily armed, masked, goon squads, who do not recognize the constitutional rights of citizens. The goon squads are the BAD guys. Pretti was one of the GOOD guys. I explained all of this in my most recent post this Friday morn. The people taking to the streets are citizens who actually care about their city and their fellow citizens of Minneapolis. There was never a good reason to send in a 3000 man goon squad acting with impunity. You, sir, do not even understand human nature itself(!!!), if you don’t understand why so many citizens of Minneapolis would react in anger to doing this to their citizens. You do not even have it in you to recognize who the good people are in this equation.

God bless the militants!! God bless the citizens who recognize the extreme ugliness of an administration that hates its own citizens enough to do such things to Democratic cities! God bless Alex Pretti!

Your problem is you cannot distinguish the good guys from the bad guys. Pretti was not trying to “start trouble” at all. He had a heart of gold, a big heart, like many of his fellow citizens. And he stood tall against those who would destroy our country by pitting American against American. Pretti simply CARED a great deal, and you call him a troublemaker. Read the post I left this morning if you really want answers, You’re doing what this administration hopes you do: ignore the atrocities, ignore the murders, ignore the prison camps. And if you have any compassion at all in your heart, crush it! It has no place in Trump’s America.

Lot of truth here. It is a fair analysis and related to the bigger picture of what he going on in the USA with the left vs ICE. Not to say ICE is not worthy of critique. But the problem with neoliberalism is it has become dogmatic, eschew's free thinking and feels a hatred even with people who strive to have a more nuanced perspective
